Mallorcan casita with one or two bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, open kitchen area and living room, decorated in a Mallorcan style. Beautiful private garden with Orange and Lemon trees with gorgeous views to the mountains and Loggia to rest outside surrounded by the 'melody' of cicadas during the day and crickets in the evenings. Set in the countryside in the Tramuntana mountains, but just 5 minutes away by car from Soller Town or Port de Soller and the Repic Beach. Main bedroom (upstairs) has a king size double bed with bathroom and shower en suite. Second bedroom has a queen size double bed with shower/bathroom en suite. The open kitchen is fully equipped with washing machine (no dishwasher). Living area with sofa and two armchairs, Digital TV with English Freeview, DVD player and Stereo. Walks to Soller Town, Port de Soller, Deia and others start at the front gate. A cot and highchair can be arranged for children if needed. Private car park at the gate of the property.

Set in the beautiful Orange Valley between Soller Town and Port de Soller, 5 minutes to the Beach and to Town. Artist's delight in a quiet and peaceful area but close to all the amenities in Town and in the Port like restaurants, markets, cafes, etc. Magnificent walks and Towns around like Fornalux, Deia (Robert Graves's home in Mallorca), Valldemossa (Chopin's home in Mallorca) and Palma famous for its Cathedral and Old Town all set between 10 and 25 minutes by car. Activities like horse riding, golf, trekking, sailing and fishing are all in a 10 to 20 minutes drive. Soller has festivities all year round like The Three Kings or Epiphany on 6th January, St Antoni (blessing of the animals) in January, Carnival in March/April, Es Firo (war between Muslims and Christians) second week-end of May, Festival of Oranges and Lemons in May and St Bartomeu (where the Esclatabutzes puts on fire the Dimonis (devils), one of the most spectacular shows of its kind on the island in August, etc..

An oasis of comfort and relaxation in Mallorca

This casita in the foothills of the mountains is a great location for a holiday/weekend break. It is tastefully decorated and very comfortable. Prior to our arrival we experienced a very efficient booking service and we were given up to date details of the local weather in July - very hot! Although a car is recommended we managed without one for the week, being content to enjoy the environs of the lemon/orange groves and to walk into Söller (approximately 25 minutes) each day. A return taxi costs €8. We also visited Port de Söller and took an early morning walk to the village of Fornalux. Although it was too hot to walk in the mountains we would be tempted to return at another time of the year to do so. Details of what to do locally, including markets, food shopping, restaurants etc. are all provided in a neat folder for visitors to peruse. The availability of good local food and the kitchen resources of the casita tempted us to eat al fresco 'at home' on two evenings. All in all our holiday experience was very good and we would recommend this holiday home/location to our friends and family.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

Lovely casita in Soller

We ( a couple from 50 years) ,had a fabulous week ! The location is fantastic and very quiet. We liked very much the beautiful terras in the citrus garden.
The casita was very clean and excellently equipped, especially the bed- and bath room were lovely decorated!
The owners are very welcoming and helpful to find nice places.
A car is recommended,because there are many nice places to go to.(old villages,beaches)
We can really recommend this lovely place and hope to return...

We stayed in September 2008 and it was one of our best holidays.

The casita was lovely, well kept and equipped, in a quiet setting. The garden, terrace and outdoor seating with its beautiful views was great to have, although we did not make as much use of it as we might have done as we were always out enjoying the Port or the surrounding villages.

We stayed with our 2 year old son and the cottage was perfect for his needs (the ensuite bathroom to the downstairs bedroom came in handy), with highchair and cot provided. He loved the outside area, picking up the fallen lemons in the morning (which we then made into lemonade).

The owner was extremely welcoming and helpful without being intrusive. We only speak a small amount of Spanish so having a bilingual owner was very useful!

Although the excellent Port de Soller can be reached by tram from Soller (a fair walk away from the cottage) we would highly recommend the hire of a car during a stay for easier trips to the beach, supermarket (good one close by), and to explore the wonderful surrounding countryside and the villages of Deia and Valldemossa. We also went on longer trips to Palma and visited the excellent aquarium.

We loved Port de Soller with its small beach, promenade, tram, numerous restaurants and easy parking. We recommend Lua restaurant (expensive but wonderful – recommended to us by the owner), the less expensive but good and very child-friendly Ses Oliveres, and Alcatraz tapas bar.

Overall, we would have no problem in recommending this holiday to anyone.

Perfect Holiday

We stayed at this casita in July 2008 and enjoyed our holiday so much we went back a few weeks later! The owners were very welcoming and respected our privacy.
A great property in a tranquil location but with lots to do nearby. Hope to stay there again soon.

hallo,
wir waren im oktober für 10 tage in diesem wunderschönen ferienhaus. es liegt in einem ruhigen seitental, direkt am wanderweg gr221. das haus von anthony und pillar ist sehr gemütlich, mit vielen kleinen details ganz liebevoll eingerichtet und strahlt eine tolle atmosphäre aus. es besitzt einen schönen garten, indem wir sehr gut relaxen konnten. sehr schön war, dass wir bei der ankunft einen lunch vorgefunden haben.
wir werden garantiert wieder kommen und freuen uns schon darauf.
