4 BR 3 Bath Beautiful Lake Views.

This lovely log home has approximately 3800 sq. ft. Very well appointed and comfortable, it affords the best views on the lake. Includes 2 king master suites, a 3rd king bedroom and a 4th loft bedroom and 3rd bathroom. Fabulous screened room in summer and spacious decks. Perfect for entertaining. With both satellite TV and wifi, you can stay in touch while getting away from it all! Very close to our other listing, #423121 if you need additional space. Five minute walk to Yacht Basin Marina, and about 3 miles from Kims Marina, where boats can be rented. 17 miles from Helena Regional Airport. Please note this is a non-smoking home, and smoking is not allowed on the premises. Check-in is 3:00 pm and check-out time is 11:00 a.m. We try to be as versatile as we can on this. If you need an exception, please let us know ahead of time.

Carroll operates 2 restaurants and Nancy is retired from General Motors. We love travel and meeting new friends. We live full time in Montana, not far from our 2 vacation rental homes.

We purchased this home, which is near our historic log cabin (VRBO #423121) to preserve and protect the property. We lived in this house for 8 years, and have now built a smaller home for ourselves on the property. We can't imagine living anywhere else.

What makes this house unique

This is a spacious, very comfortable custom home. Many unique, custom log details. Truly one of a kind. The views are spectacular from inside the home as well as from the decks. A wood-burning stove makes cool evenings a treat. All modern conveniences included. Wifi throughout house.

This home is absolutely gorgeous! The views of Canyon Ferry Lake are breathtaking! My group had a business meeting here. It was spacious and comfortable. One guest stated that she had never had such a good nights sleep. She wanted to know what kind of mattress the bed had so she could get one. During our stay we cooked our meals in the huge kitchen that was completely stocked with everything we needed. I would highly recommend this retreat for anyone!

Unable to use the cabin also offered by the owners, the house was a great alternative. It is beautiful, exceptionally well maintained and offers you just about anything you might need to enjoy your week at Canyon Ferry. The home was remodeled to its present state, and you cannot help but notice the attention to detail and the quality of work. You are staying in a first class home. It really is large enough to sleep 6-10. You will enjoy the views and surroundings here. The owners are friendly and helpful. They have a lot of area information and can give you great suggestions on what to do and where to go. Helena (capital city) is about 17 miles away; don't miss a chance to comb around there. Oh yes, I would recommend this place!

Wonderful Home--Gorgeous Views!

We had a wonderful stay in Montana at this home. The photos don't do it justice. The home is beautiful, extremely clean and was stocked with everything we needed. And the views of the lake are amazing! The property is wonderfully unique and the owners were very gracious and accommodating. It was an easy (less than 5 minutes) walking distance to the lake and marina. There are 2 local bar & grill restaurants very close by--one right next to the marina. I recommend taking a half day to go check out the Lewis & Clark Caverns. It was a teriffic experience for the kids and adults. I would highly recommend this home for a vacation rental. We will definitely come back again.

Wonderful large home and gorgeous view! Perfect vacation spot!

We loved our stay at this gorgeous property! The owners were so nice and very helpful during the whole process. The home is so well maintained and clean and so inviting. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked making the stay so enjoyable. The property description and pictures are accurate and if anything cannot capture the beauty of this place! This is a perfect vacation spot! The lake is available for fishing and swimming and the marina area is a short walk away.
Close to the enjoyable town of Helena. There are great outdoor markets to browse along with great stores and hikes too. Love the variety of restaurants and the quality of them as well.
Wake up each day to the full length view of the lake right from your comfortable king size bed. The view is unobstructed from all the main rooms of the home and deck. Phenominal!
It is a relatively short drive to Yellowstone Park and Virginia CIty and Bozeman. All great places to visit. Lots of places to drive around to just enjoy the "Big Sky Country".
Obviously I would highly recommend this place to any and all of my friends and anyone who would be interested in staying here.
Anxious to be able to come here again. Maybe next year.
