Set on a fragrant hillside, Villa Morea, named for the wood nymph of the olive tree, is nestled in an ancient olive grove and has stunning views of nearby sandy turtle beach. The villa has an intimate atmosphere, benefiting from seclusion, shade and a sense of continuity provided by the mature trees. Designed with outdoor living in mind, Villa Morea has a romantic well shaded upper terrace furnished for your complete relaxation, enabling you to relax and enjoy the romantic view across the turtle beach to Zante. Colourful flowers, climbing bougainvillea and orange, lemon, pear and fig trees are contained within the stone walls of the private garden. Sun lovers can relax by the pool then lazily take a swim in the 9 x 5 metre pool. Private shaded parking leads through the olive trees and gated garden to the villa and pool. Airy open plan design with kitchen dining and sitting areas downstairs leads up to the spacious bedroom with en-suite out to the intimate upper terrace.

Ruins of Old Skala 1 km. with taverna, old washhouse, church tower and ruined olive press. Stunning walks on doorstep up into the hills or down to Skala using old footpath/donkey roads. Skala: 10 mins drive, well supplied with tavernas,cafes, bars, supermarkets, butchers, internet cafe, car and bike hire and excursions. Katelios:10 mins drive, traditional Greek fishing village with fish restaurants and sandy beach. Poros: amazing gorge, marina and good shops banks, ATM and pharmacy. Argostoli: cosmopolitan capital with unique 'George' the turtle often seen waiting for the fishing boats in the harbour. Town square is full of cafes where Greeks eat baclava and children play until well past midnight. Sami:amazing acropolis and excavated roman ruins is about an hour away by car. Fiskado, the St Tropez of Kefalonia is worth a visit. High quality gift shops and good food. A great cave and unique colourful underground lake. Don't be afraid to buy local wine in plastic bottles, it's good.

Additional information about rental rates

  • Rent is weekly and priced in euros. Payment in sterling is also acceptable. A 20% non-refundable deposit (part payment) is required at the time of booking. Provisional reservations can be held for 48 hours FOC. Receipt and acceptance of the full deposit secures the booking. The balance will be paid to the owners' bank account (we will email details) 6 weeks prior to the start date. For late bookings (ie with less than 6 weeks to run) the full amount is immediately payable.
    Sunday is changeover day but in certain circumstances may be flexible. Check in time is 14.00hrs but we will try to accommodate earlier arrival. Check our time is 09.30 but may be possible to extend on request.
