SPECIAL OFFERS-MODERN COUNTRYSIDE VILLA WITH PRIVATE POOL,ABSOLUTE PRIVACY

We just came back from our holidays in Crete that we spent in this wondrful villa!
The house is located close to a tiny village in the country, only 15 minutes away from the biggest Rethymno. Close to the villa you can easily find all supermarkets and shops you need and some lovely tavernas to it.
The villa is confortable, clean and well equipped with everything.
The rooms are wide, all served with air con. The owners are really friendly and nice. We arrived late at night and they left us everything we needed for the morning breakfast., a wondrful Moussaka and many typical prodact to try! Every time they came to clean the house (they came tree times during our stay!) they left us a little present, like home made cakes or biscuits or Raki (typical cretean liquor)!
The garden is a huge and the swimming pool super! Our kids loved the garden and the playground!! Stella, the owner, arranged everything for kids perfectly. So we din not have to carry neither baby coat nor baby chair nor trolley!! We really enjoied our staying in this lovely house and we warmely recommand it if you are looking for a nice and special place to stay!

We have been coming to this villa since 2003, sometimes visiting twice in a year.
Villa Aphroditi is a wonderful place to relax, quiet, completely private and with extensive grounds. While a car is necessary it is also possible to walk down to the village in about 20 minutes and sample the beer and food at Yannis Taverna,
The villa inside is beautifully presented and the family have made it just like a second home rather than just a rental property. Each bedroom has its own balcony and there is a place to sit at each time of the day depending whether you wish to be in the sun or not. The view at sunset is fantastic and it is just possible from the far side of the pool to see the sea. The White Mountains in the distance never fail to impress.The pool and sunbathing areas are superb as well as the substantial BBQ and Pizza oven!
However, it is the warm and genuine welcome that you will receive from Roula and Dimitri that makes it special with homemade food and fresh eggs. The villa is cleaned twice per week and the bedding changed whether it needs to be done or not. Dimitri will be there at 6.30 each morning to service the pool too.
This is a great place to stay in a a country where the values, lifestyle and people are reminiscent of Britain a while ago.

This villa was even better than the website description! The bedrooms were very spacious, there were plenty of tables and chairs so you could choose where to eat and the garden was huge. The pool was fabulous and kept our 3, 5 and 14 year olds busy. It is perfect for those wanting to escape as it is in a rural area with lovely views of mountains and sea. The house was kept spotlessly clean and we were given a very warm welcome by Stella and her family. A car is needed but there is a great choice of beaches, markets, restaurants and other lovely areas to visit within a 20-min drive.
