Villasfor2: The idea came from our own experiences over the years trying to rent a holiday villa in a great location just for the two of us. We never understood why it was such hard work. So we decided to build the kind of place we'd never quite managed to find. Small, friendly and relaxed in wonderful surroundings, providing holidays for just couples and friends. And as you've decided to come away without kids, we don't see why you should share your Abruzzo villa holiday with other people's. So our villas are expressly for grown-up couples and friends only.

A Day in Abruzzo: Here's what you might enjoy doing today...Start with breakfast on the sun terrace outside your Villa. Decide whether to spend the day lazing by the pool or maybe go sightseeing ? Perhapsthe dizzying and dazzling heights of the medieval castle at Roccasclalegna ? Or the haunting ruins of ancient Gessopalena ? Or the imposing, iconic 2000 year-old Capestrano Warrior in Chieti ? Or traditional trabbochi on the coast ? A day at the Beach ? Fossacesia Marina; or Le Morgie; or Casalbordino Lido are all in easy reach. A Walk on the Wild Side ? The magnificent Majella National Park is on our doorstep. Eating and Drinking ? Our favourite local trattoria Lu Piccone; pizzas baked in a wood-fired oven at Dal Ghiottone; or gourmet dining at Ai Vecchi Sapori, Santa Chiara or La Cena ? Festivals, Feasts and Fireworks ?
