Charming vintage cottage located on Lakeshore Drive in Douglas Michigan is available June - October. The perfect place for family and friends to gather, to relax and enjoy beautiful sunsets and all Michigan has to offer.

The cottage has 5 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, roomy kitchen, large dining room, living area, laundry room, screened porch, large deck and big back yard perfect for dining outdoors or playing games with the kids (big or little)

Our cottage is just steps away from private beach access and beautiful Lake Michigan.
About Kathy Sarkisian

The historic Tea Room Cottage was built in 1922 by our Great Aunt Lala Garesche'. It was truly a tea room where afternoon tea and lunch were served.

the cottage is fine. A typical Michigan cottage. It worked for us because of the location. The porch & deck were very nice. The kitchen adequate. Doenstairs shower is good.

We love theTea House!
The feel of this quaint and well appointed cottage reminds me of what Lake Michigan beach life was meant to be.
The rooms are plentiful and have the charm of a simpler time. They get a lovely breeze off Lake Michigan, which is right across the street. You can hear the water at night and if that isn't what the doctor ordered, I don't know what is!
They caring owners have thought of everything you will need to make your summer beach getaway
perfect!

This property has all you need to enjoy a quiet, relaxing Michigan beach vacation. The cottage is charming and very functional. There is plenty of space and the screened in patio is great for card games and enjoying the lake breeze and the sounds of the waves lapping the beach. This property is in a prime location along Lake Shore Drive in Douglas. Plenty of outstanding restaurants and shops close by in Douglas and Saugatuck. We have rented this property for the last 5 summers and we will keep coming back!

I have rented this cottage for the last 5 yrs. and I have thoroughly enjoyed my stay. It takes you back to the good old days with it's old charm and the feeling of lazy day summers. It's kid friendly with a large back yard to play volleyball,baseball and touch football or washers after you come up from the beach. Then you get the barbecue ready and enjoy a good dinner with the whole family. In the mornings you sit on the screen in porch with your coffee and plan your day. We love going into Saugatuck for ice cream and sit and watch the sunset. The Red Dog restaurant in Douglas is a fun place to get dinner.
