About Karam J Karram

After owning a beautiful mountain top cabin (MasterPeace) for 3 years , we recently started searching for a cabin on a river. Karams love is for the mountains. Haifa loves the trees and water.

We searched long and hard looking for the perfect combination of comfort, beauty, trees and wide water. And then we found Another MasterPeace

Karam J Karram purchased this cabin in 2012

We could see the potential once all the renovations were completed. We expanded the kitchen, added decks and steps and upgraded, repainted and furnished the cabin, taking care not to overlook even the smallest detail. But most of all, we fell in love with the beauty all around this cozy and charming cabin

Another MasterPace is close to Blue Ridge and whitewater rafting and horseback riding. Not to mention fishing and tubing from your back yard. Also, the sounds of the water below is extremely relaxing. An array of natural beauty, both sights and sounds awaits you when you visit this cabin.

The cabin was beautiful and clean. Found a goodie bag on our arrival and bathrobes! The pictures were accurate and the cabin was even better in person. Karam was quick to reply to any questions we had and clearly showed he wants to provide a great experience. The hot tub was wonderful after a day of kayaking. The directions to the cabin were easy to follow and we felt we were far away but it's a quick ride to McCaysville or Blue Ridge. Loved the steps to the creek and the deck. We sat outside a lot to enjoy the view and the quiet, had great dinners on the grill and wish we had the time to enjoy the fire pit but I'm sure we'll be back to take advantage of that. The kitchen is fully stocked with better than average appliances and utensil and I was excited to see there was an electric water kettle for my hot tea. I would definitely recommend this property to friends and relatives and plan to be back for a family get together.

We had a wonderful stay at your cabin- it is very well appointed, with comfortable beds, a cozy fire. The snowfall Friday was a terrific anniversary gift! 235 steps to the creek provided all the exercise needed as well. We look forward to visiting again, and would certainly recommend to any family seeking a getaway.

The cabin was just as lovely as the photos depicted on VRBO. The amenities were even better than expected and the cabin decor most tasteful and interesting. The walk down and back up to the river was more than worth the effort. Karam, the owner was always quick to respond to my emails and very helpful. I have told several friends and relatives about this wonderful cabin in the woods. We enjoyed grilling our evening meals on the deck. And the screened in porch was a delight.

New Year Retreat

My husband, three teenage daughters and I have been vacationing during the holiday season for the past few years as part of our gift to them. This year we had a wonderful time staying in the Karram's beautiful, and very clean, cabin. On our first day in from Florida we were suprised to get a bit of snow. It was a lovely change in weather from what we are used to and our stay continued to be great all the way into the New Year! We enjoyed driving through the mountains and getting many family photo's as well as making a short trip into the town of Helen. We also made sure to stop at Mercier's Orchards to pick up some of the best apples we have ever had along with ingredients for us to have a bake-off with the girls. The fried pies were delicious! The girls also enjoyed the hot tub and walking up and down all of those steps for their daily excercise regimen. We may have to make another trip here soon to enjoy the water rafting during the warmer months! Thank you to the Karram's for going above and beyond to make this a memorable time for our family.

Relaxing Weekend

This cabin was exactly what we needed for a relaxing weekend. We were so comfortable and relaxed that we had a hard time leaving. The cabin is very well stocked. It even includes ROBES to walk to the hot tube in! I cooked a couple of meals and found everything I needed in the kitchen. If you need to pick anything up it is very easy to scoot into town to the grocery and yet you feel like you're in the middle of the woods. We walked to the creek and my husband got a kick out of counting the stairs on the way back up. I highly recommend this place to everyone. Thank you to the owners for being such attentive and gracious hosts!
