This brand new former model-home was designed with Palm Beach living in mind and is located in a gated Palm Beach community which combines stately home designs with Florida flair. This home is enhanced with plantation-style shutters, Pool & Spa with Rock Waterfall, volume ceilings, upgraded finishes, Whirlpool appliances and gourmet kitchen fittings ... it exudes luxury! Easily accessible to shopping, dining, golf courses, marinas and beaches, the community is also just one mile from the Turnpike, close to Interstate 95, and a quick ride to Palm Beach International Airport. Miami can be reached via the turnpike in 65-70 minutes. This is our base during the winter months, which we share with family and friends and which we occasionally offer for rental to families wishing to enjoy the areas facilities which include equestrian events (polo), cruising, sea / big game fishing, beach parties, boat / jet ski rental, up-scale shopping, cinema going, water / theme parks and of course, sunshine

West Palm Beach, also known as West Palm, is the most populous city in Palm Beach County, Florida. The area is known as the West Palm Beach-Boca Raton-Boynton Beach Metropolitan Division, which covers the entire Palm Beach County area. It is situated in the northernmost county of the South Florida metropolitan area. West Palm Beach is a growing city. The skyline of the city is beautiful and constantly changing. New residential buildings, condos, and attractions are common downtown, and an increasing number are being built. As a waterfront city there is water transportation between points in the city and surrounding areas. Waterway transportation is available to and from the downtown Clematis Street District, Sailfish Marina Resort, waterfront attractions, Peanut Island and special events. CityPlace features old-world architecture, beautiful fountains, and sidewalk cafés - creating an atmosphere strikingly reminiscent of a European town center.

Additional information about rental rates

  • This is our base during the winter months, which we share with family, friends and business partners / guests and which we occasionally offer for rental to families wishing to enjoy the area. At the time of writing (Oct 09) we've not completely finished furnishing and equipping the property (we'll be adding a game room / pool table, additional TVs, XBox360 et al) and so we're reflecting this in our discounted rates - which are based on US$1,400 per week. Once it's the 'finished article' (early '10, we hope) we'll be offering rentals based on US$2,100 per week - in season. Discounts of up to 30% are available for long term rentals. NOTE: we'll add more pictures of the house to this site just as soon as it becomes the 'finished article'.
  • In additional to the rental fee, there is a cleaning fee per rental of up to US175, less for 4 or fewer occupants. (There may be more than one cleaning fee in the case of longer term rental). There may also be a housekeeping / management fee, variable, dependent upon the additional services supplied. All new guests will be required to signed a short-term lease and to provide a security deposit of at least US$500, refundable within 28 days of the end of the rental and following inspection by our managing agent.

Notes: Whilst the community is within walking distance of extensive local facilties and within a short drive of the very best which south Florida has to offer, the house is located in a quiet residential neighbourhood with just one immediately neighbouring property. Consequently, whilst it will be suitable for a family with one or two young children, or indeed for two such families sharing, it's unlikely to be suitable for a large family with boisterous teenagers or for single-sex parties or groups. We'll be pleased to suggest alternative accommodation for such parties.

Winter Equestrian Festival '10 (PBEIC) Wellington: Being little more that a 5 minute drive away the Palm Beach International Equestrian Center (PBIEC), the house provides a perfect base for anyone attending the 2010 FTI Winter Equestrian Festival - January 13 - April 4.

Golf: Florida golf courses are world renown for their quality links options, and Palm Beach County is no different. A list of public and private course, some within a mile of the house is available on request.

Cruising, Fishing and Water Sport: Palm Beach County offers a number of aquatic attractions including fishing charters, cruises and host of water sports, most of which can be reached by car in about 15 minutes.
