A private 0.4 mile driveway abutting the Black Hills National Forest leads you to this elegant log and stone lodge in an incredible setting on Terry Peak. Beautiful unobstructed views and sunsets to the West from the property are breathtaking! Many trails for hiking, biking, and horseback riding start directly from the property as we are bordered on 3 sides by National Park Land. Closeby, is access to the 109 mile long Mickelson Trail, scenic Spearfish Canyon, historic city of Deadwood, Terry Peak ski area, and many Black Hills streams for fishing. One can easily drive to Mt. Rushmore and Crazy Horse for a days outing. The lodge itself is elegant and was built with love. A custom massive wood burning fireplace anchors the main room, with beautiful wide plank wood floors, and double french doors leading to the outside deck. It's a fabulous setting for family, corporate, or Rally gatherings - small or large. The Stone Lodge sleeps 16 comfortably.
Other features include a gourmet kitchen with a 5 burner gas range, stainless appliances, microwave and fully stocked dishware. We are fortunate to have the Black Hill only a 6 hour drive from us! So we get there for some fun and R&R when we can. It's an awesome destination in summer and winter. You can be as active as you want, or go for some peace and quiet.
