Newly decorated this Victorian house situated in Pitshanger Village, Ealing, West London is perfect for families. It is surrounded by Pitshanger Park which is great for entertaining children and walking dogs and it has great transport links into central London. It has 3 bedrooms (2 double bedrooms and one single bedroom), one bathroom with bath and shower, a sitting room, dining room and kitchen. The two double bedrooms have LCD DVD TV's, there is an LCD TV and DVD player in the sitting room and a large LCD player in the dining room with a playstation 2 for watching DVDs or playing games. There is a small front garden and a 13m long back garden with a sand pit, paddling pool and plenty of strawberry's that grow in the summer months.

Pitshanger Village is a very family friendly part of West London. Surrounded by Pitshanger Park where you can play golf and tennis, it's just a 3 minute walk to the local shops which include a small supermarket, a local butchers, fish monger, fruit and vegetable shop, bakery's, chemists, restaurants, cafes and nice English Pubs. The bus stop is only a 1 minute walk from the house which will take you to Ealing Broadway Train station where you can get trains and buses to Central London and Heathrow. It only takes around 30mins by train to get to Oxford Street from Ealing Broadway and 10 mins from Heathrow to Ealing Broadway. We are a 15 min train journey away from Europe's largest shopping centre Westfield and a pleasant bus ride takes you to the beautiful Kew Gardens. The A40, A4 and M1 motorways are easily accessible if you are driving or would like to drive out to Oxford and the English Countryside. In August Ealing hosts the Walpole Comedy and Music Festival which is worth a visit.

  • The two double bedrooms have LCD TVs with in built DVD players. The large double bedroom has 2 chests of drawers and a cot which can also be used as a small sofa. The other double bedroom has a large wardrobe, a chest of drawers and a desk. The single room has a chest of draws.

Notes: This is a family home so it is child friendly and dog friendly. We are surrounded by Pitshanger Park so it is very easy to take dogs for a walk and keep children entertained. We also have a play station 2 and 32' LCD screen in the dining room for older children. The dining room has an extendible table which seats 6 people and we have a high chair available to use for young children. It sleeps 5 adults or children and 1 baby. The reception room measures 4.57m x 3.66, the dining room and kitchen measure 5.2m x 5.5m, bedroom 1 measures 4.57m x 3.51m, bedroom 2 measures 3.96m x 3.51m, bedroom 3 measures 2.59 x 1.83 and the bathroom measures 2.45m x 1.83m.

We had an 8 nights stay at the place with kids 2 and 4 years old girls. The place is very convenient for travelling with kids.

There were many toys for kids in the house which the girls love, and many DVD films that we used. There is a big park with a playground on it that we did not have time to use.

There are a few shops and restaurants very close that are open till 11 pm, also there is an even closer bus station for buses E7 and E2 going and coming to/from Ealing Broadway station. From there is very easy to reach London by underground or rail.

The bathroom was in good condition, better than average, but the beds, specially the ones for the kids didn´t have a great mattress.

The pictures make the place look a bit better than it actually is, the first impression is of a bit of disappointment but is not bad, just not as good as you expect from the pictures.
