Photos and Description of the Los Angeles vacation apartment rental Sleeps 2 with great views of downtown LA and rooftop.

This is the second bedroom and second bathroom of my two bedroom loft in downtown LA. I love to travel and on my last trip I decided to bring the spirit of traveling closer to home by opening my home to travellers. My loft is on the 9th floor of a 10 story building and has HUGE windows overlooking downtown LA. The 1907 building was completely refurbished in 2008 with modern appliances and hip urban decor. It has a full kitchen, a huge dining table and home projector set-up for watching movies and DVD. I also keep beer on tap. The ceilings are very high and there are windows on three sides of the unit. It is a large, airy and open feeling -- an urban oasis. There is a rooftop deck complete with spa, grill and sitting areas. Parking is not included in this price, though good parking is available less than a block away. I do not recommend visiting Los Angeles without a car, but for the brave trying it, I can't imagine a better location than this. I am a 31 year old attorney.

Nearest Motorway: 110 Freeway at 1 Miles
Nearest Beach: beach at 15.0 Miles

My place is in the heart of downtown Los Angeles in a recently restored 1907 building near the Historic Core and the Old Banking District. It's located only one block from the Pershing Square Metro Stop. While I do recommend renting a car to tour Los Angeles, if you were trying to use public transportation, this is the best possible place. You can take the Metro system and the Metro goes to Grand Central Station where you can access Amtrak for day trips to San Diego and Santa Barbara. Local amenities and tourist attractions include the historic Bradbury Building, the California Market Center, the Disney Concert Hall, the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion, Grand Central Market, Little Tokyo, the Museum of Contemporary Art, Chinatown, the University of Southern California, the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels and downtown restaurants and nightlife including Broadway Bar, the Edison and the Roof at the Standard. All of these attractions are within walking distance, except Chinatown and USC.

It was a really opportunity to discover Los Angeles otherwise by leaving downtown (with a very large choice of restaurants around...). The place is really very pleasant and Joe an host really to recommend. Available to discuss or advise when I need it and discreet the rest of the time. Do not hesitate. One of the best place in town ! About that place, i want to add that : the description was 100% right, the property clean and very well-maintained, the owner provide good customer service. I would recommend this property to any of my friends.

When we arrived the very first day, we really couldn't believe our eyes!!!
Joe's place was like a dream! Everything was perfect :-) He honestly fulfilled the high expectations he promised! The entire loft was clean (kitchen, restroom, bathroom,...)!!! From his place you had a gorgeous view to Downtown LA (e.g. U.S. Bank Tower,...!!!) You can trust me the view is priceless!!! In addition this place is perfectly situated as it is in Downtown L.A. The next Metro station is just round the corner. That's why we didn't use a rental car or taxi.
All in all it was really worth it for this very little money!
Joe himself is a wonderful host. He's being helpful , during our whole stay! We could ask him everything!!! He was a very pleasant man. As I said the perfect host!!!
We're definitively going to keep in touch with Joe :-) And the next time we'll for sure stay in his place again.
We can highly recommend this place!!! 5 Stars
