This lovely, comfortable two bedroom Beach Home is just what you are looking for: located on a quiet, friendly street, it is only a short few minutes walk to the Ocean, Redondo Pier, and Riviera Village Shopping & Restaurants. It is offers both rest & relaxation and a wide range of activities. It is perfect for a Romantic Getaway, a Family Vacation. two Couples, or a Group of Friends.

The spacious living room is light and airy with wide picture windows, high beam ceiling, 47' flat screen TV and wood burning fireplace. French doors lead onto the deck which is set up for outdoor BBQ and dining.

The master bedroom has a queen size bed with french doors opening onto the large enclosed backyard garden oasis where you can relax, enjoy morning coffee, and sunbathe in complete privacy. The second bedroom has 2 twin size beds. There is an additional twin size rollaway bed available so the house will sleep 5. There are ceiling fans throughout the living area and bedrooms so you are always comfortable and cool.

The spacious kitchen is newly remodeled with new cabinetry, glass tile, and fully equipped.

Parking is available on the driveway and also on the street.

This is a Non-Smoking House.

There are endless activities within walking distance, you don't even need a car! It is a short 2 1/2 block walk to the the Beach. Bike or Stroll along the Bike Path to the Redondo Pier. There you will find ocean view dining and water activities available, including cruises and whale watching. Redondo's charming Riviera Village is mere minute's walk where you can browse the shops & boutiques. You can also enjoy many wonderful Restaurants, Cafes, Bars, and Coffee Shops, some offer outdoor seating. Each Friday afternoon there is a Farmer's Market in the Village. You can buy fresh produce to cook at home.

Jay Leno performs at the Comedy & Magic Club in nearby Hermosa Beach often on Sunday nights.

Also within walking distance are banks, ATM's, grocery stores, drugstore, pharmacies, post office, and Fed Ex office.

You may want to venture further to visit LA's many tourist attractions including The Getty Museum, Long Beach Aquarium, The Queen Mary, Disneyland, Hollywood, Santa Monica Pier, Universal Studios, and the amazing Science Museum, which are no more than an hour away.

Comfortable, Relaxing, Private Oasis

We loved this place!!! My wife and I have used VRBO several times and have had mostly positive experiences, but this place exceeded our expectations. The home is in a great location, close to the beach, close to plenty of shops and restaurants, the pier and the garden is perfect. There were four adults and our toddler staying at the house and the layout of the home and multiple outdoor sitting areas were perfect. For a beach place the ability to sit outside in the garden, have a cup of tea and read was just perfect. The owner was very friendly and the house is obviously cared for and not a forgotten piece of rental property. We will definitely be back.

e want to thank Mary Ann for opening her house to us. We're a family of four and we had a great time in So. CA. The house served as our base to go up and down the coast. It is a great place to recharge after a long day of outings. Well located and a couple of blocks from the beach it is very convenient. Mary Ann has decorated the house making it a charming place filled with interesting pieces from her travels, lots of books and well stocked with all you would need to make it comfortable. The back yard is a place to relax and enjoy the sunny days. Overall a great find!

Even better than the lovely pictures show

Mary Ann was there to greet us with her famous brownies. As soon as you walk into the home it feels good. The furnishings and decorations are a delight and very interesting. She has many books to read and books from other countries to browse. Everything you could need is included. The back yard is definitely private, very useable, and charming with all the flowers, bushes, and trees. It was great to be able to entertain our children that live in the area and a few of their friends.
We will be back. It is so much nicer than staying in a hotel. It is the nicest landscaped home in the area.

Hospitatlity and Charm

My family and I flew into California on Christmas morning. We drove to this darling house, and after a long flight from Australia, we were tired and needing an easy entry. The owner of the home was waiting with the door open, fresh baked brownies on the immaculately clean kitchen counter, champagne cooling in the refrigerator and a warm smile! She walked us around her comfortable home and showed us how everything worked. We had a lovely time and I would recommend staying here. The communication was clear and accurate. Thank you so much!

A relaxing gem.

My wife and I spent a wonderful 8 nights at Mary Ann's enchanting house. Mary Ann was there to greet us on arrival. She made us feel welcome, gave us a house tour and made sure we we were well informed of local attractions and amenities. The house itself is very comfortable, a good size and full of character. The house is replete with all the modern conveniences. My wife Annie enjoyed the back garden immensely, it's offers plenty of garden furniture to relax on. The house is well situated, close to the beach, restaurants and shops. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Mary Ann's and highly recommend it.
