Linieres Bouton is situated about 25 Kilometres north of Saumur, wine capital of this part of the Loire Valley and lies midway between Angers and Tours both less than an hour away, the historic town of Le Mans and its 24 hour circuit is also not far away. Many Loire chateaux are easily accessible as well as Futuroscope, just outside Poitiers. As with most locations in France every kind of sporting facility is catered for from golf to swimming in many of the small to medium sized towns and of course the area is steeped in history, such as the burial place of Richard the Lion Heart at the Abbey of Fontevraud and the town of Chinon where Joan of Arc came to prominence.
Access to the area is simple with excellent road, rail and air connections and it is easy to reach here without expensive overnight stops, courtesy of good motorway links, Eurostar and Ryanair from London and Dublin.
