High bank waterfront with 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. Home has undergone a complete remodel both inside and out from the new roof, vinyl siding, laminate flooring, fresh paint, new cabinetry and ceramic tile in the bathrooms, and granite counter tops in the kitchen. The home is completely furnished and comes complete with everything you will need for your vacation stay. Also a 16' x 32' deck has been constructed on the rear of the house, which overlooks the constant flow of marine traffic on the strait. Don't miss seeing the cruise ships heading to Alaska most evenings. We also have resident bald eagles that like to sit in the trees which are viewable from the living room and deck. There is also a herd of deer living in the nearby woods who come out to feed most mornings and evenings.
What a peaceful, inviting home . . . even the deer are friendly. The atmosphere is so serene that it is almost magical. While looking through the plate glass windows during the full moon, the moonlight illuminated the lawn making it resemble a beach and the Strait appeared to lap at the edge of the cliff. We loved watching the ships on the Strait of Juan De Fuca. This vacation home has everything you need, including coffee. A lot of care went into making this property a place you will want to visit over and over again.
This house was exactly as advertised. We had three couples for a mini family reunion and couldn't have been happier. The house is nice, but what makes it special is the view from the deck, the living room, the entrance and just about anywhere. Our entertainment each night was watching an amazing sunset as the various ships sailed back and forth on the Strait of Juan de Fuca. It was also VERY quiet at night. Almost every morning we say deer with fawns pass just beyond the back fence. Close enough to Port Angeles to stock up, but far enough away to feel more in the country. We spent many days visiting the Olympic National Park, hiking many trails, Dungeness Spit Sequim, Cape Flattery and watching the wild life. Would definitely stay here again if we ever get back.
We felt very welcome when we arrived at "The Bluffs". The house was spacious and clean and featured all amenities one would need to have a perfect holiday (even the big TV screen to watch the Soccer World Cup ;o)). The view from the garden over to Victoria on Vancouver Island was amazing. If we had had more time, we would have given the barbecue grill a chance. We really enjoyed our stay in Port Angeles and would love to visit again.
Well, there was only one thing missing: a landline telephone. Since we had a poor reception with our European mobile phones, we were somewhat scared if we could get help in case of emergency.
We had 4 adults and 3 kids and spent 2 nights at this beautiful vacation house. We had great time. The kids loved the cable TV and free Wi-Fi. The house was very clean and in good order. We love the openness of the house and the amazing views. I would strongly recommend this house to people who want to visit Olympic national park.
The bluff house was lovely. We really enjoyed the fantastic view of the ocean. We saw lots of deer, seagulls and even three eagles flying together over the yard. The kitchen was excellently stocked with everything we needed for cooking and we also used the grill. It was close to town which was convenient.
We would stay here again.
We have 6 adults and 2 babies and all enjoyed the stay very much.(The owners are so kind to prepare a pack n play for our babies). The house is about 15 min' drive away from the city center of Port Angeles which makes it a good place to stay for a visit to Sequim, Hurraicane Ridge and Lake Crescent. The house is clean, the ocean view of the backyard is so great. Thanks for everything ~
