3 bedroom apartment in centre of El Campello, close to beach and all amenities.

Large 3 bedroom apartment, 1 bathroom with shower and WC, 1 separate WC. Bedroom 1, with double bed, leads onto small balcony shared with living room overlooking street leading down to port. Bedroom 2 has 2 single beds. Bedroom 3, though small, has double bed. Living room with dining table and 3 sofas. Ceiling fans. Fitted kitchen with utility balcony. On second floor of quiet residential block (there is no lift). Just 2 mins walk to Campello's main beach-front paseo and beaches, 2 mins to port, town park, tram station, supermarkets, bars, shops and restaurants. Baker's and Delicatessen opposite. Very near the apartment is a bus stop from where a local bus can be caught into Alicante or to the large sandy beaches of San Juan. By tram the city of Alicante is a short 20 min journey to the south and to the north is a scenic journey through Villajoyosa, Benidorm, Altea and numerous towns & villages all the way to Denia on the north side of the peninsula. A car is not necessary.

What to do in the area: There are numerous activities available. During the summer you can catch the daily ferry from El Campello port to Benidorm or to the small island of Tabarca, where the snorkelling and swimming are excellent.

Terra Mitica Theme Park is a 20 minute drive away, near Benidorm, where there is also Terra Natura, a safari park, and Agua Natura water park. Aqualandia water park and Mundomar animal park are great days out for the family.

If you have a car, there are numerous scenic drives to mountain villages. A good place for buying souvenirs and for beautiful scenery is the village of Guadalest, 30 mins away. A new solar boat trip around the reservoir is another attraction there. There are many footpaths for walking in the mountains and birdwatching. The Caves of Canelobre, in the village of Busot, are approx. 6km away from Campello and the waterfalls of the Fonts D'Algar a 30 min drive.

The Tourist Information Office of El Campello is 50 metres from the apartment and open all year round.

Birdwatching, Walking: There are many sites of interest to birdwatchers and nature lovers in the province of Alicante and beyond, the owners can give advice and suggestions on places to visit. Winter, spring and autumn are ideal for walking in the Costa Blanca and there is beautiful scenery to be explored just a few kilometres inland.

Local Culture: The Moors and Christian fiestas are held in nearly every village and town throughout the area. Campello's own is in the month of October, but you can usually find one somewhere at any time of the year. The local Campello Fisherman's fiesta is in July.

For cheap tasty tapas, the Old Town of Benidorm has a wealth of small bars where, in the evening, you can have a glass of wine and tapa for 1€ and watch the locals doing the same.

Alicante city is well worth visiting for shopping, promenading, visiting the castle and port area and to get a taste of real Spain.

Very good apartment in perfect holiday location

We had the opportunity to spend 7 nights in Jill's apartment in El Campello from 15 June 2014 to 22 June 2014.

It was one of those rare occasions when the advertised apartment actually looked better than in the description. Very big, with nice furniture and absolutely everything needed for a nice holiday was already in place. For example, we spared some good money by using the beach articles already provided.

The kitchen is also very good with everything from tableware to cooking oil already there. We also liked the welcome package, thank you! The book with travel and eating tips was also a very good starting point in discovering Costa Blanca.

About El-Campello. It offers easy access to both Alicante (Trams 1,3) and Benidorm/Calpe (Tram 1 in the opposite direction). The beach is nice with good sand and water. And if you want more, just take the tram for 3 stops to Muchavista in Costa Blanca.

The restaurants in El Campello are also mostly good (but always check the menu first!) We would recommend 'Cerveceria El Campello' where the 2 course lunch menu + desert and wine is 9 EUR.

So, we would recommend this apartment to anyone wanting to visit Costa Blanca and Alicante and will surely return in the future.

Exactly what we wanted!

The apartment was just as described. We wanted an apartment centrally located, by the beach front and easy walking distance to the tram-line.
This property was perfect and nicely presented and we felt at home straight away.
Jill and Sam were very helpful and a very nice couple.
El Campello is a nice little town and has a wonderful promenade that goes on for miles all the way to Alicante.
The tram-line can take you into Alicante one way and all the way through to Denia the other with a simple change at Benidorm. The journey to Denia had lovely views. You don't need a vehicle unless you want to travel to more remoter areas.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this apartment. We will definitely be going back.

Fantastic in every way!

We had an amazing stay in El Campello. Quiet town, fantastic beach, cheap and reliable coastal tram service. The apartment was extremely well equipped with everything from deck chairs and parasols to cotton buds and tea bags. It proved very spacious and located in the centre of everything. We made use of Sam and Jill's
'Taxi' service and during the journey benefitted from their shared knowledge of the area - a most warm welcome! We were sad to say our goodbyes and are hoping to return with our daughters and grandchildren. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend

Ideal Choice Apartment

We had been to El Campello last year and stayed in an apartment just outside the town. It was about a twenty minute walk and we decided a city centre apartment would be better this time.
After much deliberation we decided on this apartment belonging to Jill and Sam. It turned out to be the best choice we could have made. It was exactly as described on the web site. Spacious, spotlessly clean and well equipped. The Balcony was ideal in size and good for watching the world go by. There wasn't any problems during our stay but I am sure Jill and Sam, a phone call away, would have made themselves available to be of help. The apartment was in an ideal position for the beach, restaurants, bars and public transport. Jill and Sam provide an excellent transport service from and to the airport for a reasonable charge.
We would definitely recommend this apartment and will stay there on our return to Ell Campello.

Great apartment

Just back from a 6 night stay at this apartment with my wife and 14 year old son and had a great holiday. The owners were very helpful and the apartment was very clean a good size and in a superb location with the beach,bars, shops,restaurants and the tram station all a short stroll away.
Jill and Sam could not have been more helpful with transfers, information and all the little extras.
Lovely to sit out on the balcony and watch the world go by whilst having a wee refreshment.
If we are in the area again we would not hesitate to book this apartment as it is very good value for money and has everything you could want from a self catering apartment.

What a lovely apartment this is, it had everything supplied from a cork screw to a calender. Very spacious and spotlessly clean, three ample bedrooms with loads of storage space, a very roomy and light living room with a lovely balcony (perfect for your morning coffee) a fully equipped kitchen and two bathrooms.
The couple who own this apartment are very nice and accommodating, and have left no stone unturned to ensure that your stay here is as pleasant as possible.
As soon as we unpacked we felt at home in this apartment, we tuned in to Bay radio and let the holiday begin.
It was in our eyes what you would want if you ever moved to Spain and wanted a permanent residence, a ready made home from home.

El Campello has everything to offer for a relaxing or active holiday. At the end of the pedestrianised beach-front paseo, with its numerous bars and restaurants, lies the port where the fishing boats can be seen bringing in their daily catch. Campello has one of the few public fish auctions, which takes place every evening. The sandy beach itself stretches from the port on the north side to the 'Rio Seco' or dry river bed on the southern side. There are several long, rocky spits along which you can walk out to observe the marine life or simply for a panoramic view of Campello with the setting sun behind. The old town of Campello is a short 5 min walk, where there are numerous local bars and restaurants, cultural centre, a new park with many grassy areas and of course its own chiringuito or bar. Further afield, Alicante to the south, or Benidorm and beyond to the north can be visited on the TramTrain, which runs regularly through the winter and 24hrs during the summer months

Golf: The golf course of Bonalba is 5 mins drive from Campello. There are many more courses within easy reach by car.

Notes:
Smokers are asked to do so on the balcony outside. Because of double door access to balcony from bedroom 1 and living room, the apartment is not suitable for small children. As it is on the second floor and there is no lift, it is not suitable for the very elderly or infirm. Clothes can be dried on the clothes line outside at the back of the kitchen. Wash powder is supplied. Ceiling fans are installed for each room. A welcome pack of tea, coffee, milk, water is provided. Extra items can be included on request. There is a local gymnasium/ fitness centre next door. The owners live locally and will meet guests on arrival.
