Dinning area seats 6 comfortably (highchair available). Large lounge with amply seating for 9 with access to bay window for your pleasure to view the outstanding views of the countryside. TV, video and DVD player, books, videos, puzzles, games and a open fire place for those cold evenings. Bathroom with separate shower unit, towel rail and vanity unit. Hallway with plenty of brochures for planning your days, closet with hoover and plenty of coat hanging spaces. Large garage with separate toilet, has a deep freeze, tumble dryer, bike repair kit, first aid box, recycling facilities, ample coat hangers, plenty of space for bikes and dirty/wet coats/walking boots, etc. A large garden, lawned area are fully available to guests, with plenty of car parking spaces. Water hose pipe for washing dirty bikes, etc

We are 3 miles from the Old Spa town of Llandrindod Wells, which has a picturesque lake, museum, international bowling facilities, leisure/swimming pool, an excellent golf club, many find hotels and oldie worldly pubs. The famous Royal Welsh Show is only 9 miles - the best and biggest show in Wales. There's a great indoor play area for the children (Quackers) only just down the road in Newbridge-on-Wye. The Elan Valley Dams is only 6 miles with its breathtaking views of the reservoirs and outstanding walks across the valleys - cyclists are most welcome to, with a hire shop in the town of Rhayader which is 5 miles away. We are 40 miles from the coast - mainly sand and stone beaches, Aberystwyth being the main shopping town with its cliff tram ride for outstanding views across the sea and the ruin castle is not to be missed. Mid Wales offers lots more including fishing (Grayling, Salmon and Trout), Horse Riding, Indoor Bowling, Golf, Wildlife, and a Cinema/Gallery/Theatre.

Additional information about rental rates

  • It is our policy to provide you with a high standard of accommodation during your stay. Our aim is to make sure that you holiday is a memorable one and that you may consider staying with us again in the future.
    The bungalow is a non smoking environment - but you may smoke under the front door overhang.
    Prices are as stated (please check with owner for short stay rates/deals) and will be agreed with a confirmation letter of booking after deposit have been received. However prices are subject to change without notice. Please check that you have been quoted the latest price. (Electricity and heating included in price - fire wood supplied)
    A deposit of £150.00 per week will be required for bookings made more than 6 weeks prior to arrival. The balance of the fee is payable in full 6 weeks prior to arrival date. For short notice bookings made less than 6 weeks before arrival, full payment is required to confirm booking.
  • Pets are allowed in the bungalow except in bedrooms. Pets are charged £25.00 per pet per week. (Short stay reduced rate). 2 well behaved dogs or 2 house trained cats (owners must supply own little trays, feed/water trays and remove any hair/dirt from bungalow and garden/lawns. Payment is due with full payment of rent or if booking is under 6 weeks then payment may be paid on arrival.
  • We also offer short breaks (hire charge shown in £ sterling) based on 3 nights break (Friday to Monday) or 4 nights mid week break (Monday to Friday). Out of season, short breaks can be taken any time, please check with owners for prices, days, etc.

Superb accomodation in beautiful settings

This is a beautifully appointed bungalow and spotlessly clean. Very large and comfortable sitting room and a good sized kitchen The property is newly decorated to a very high standard .The views are fantastic and although you get the feeling of being in the middle of the country it is not that far to local amenities.We had a wonderful time here and Ruth is so helpful, answering questions on local shops and fishing amongst other things! We received a very warm welcome from Ruth and also flowers and wine on arrival which was a lovely personal touch, we have recommended this highly to friends and colleagues and will be going back shortly.My eldest son said, although this is a holiday cottage it feels like im at home .Good local pubs with very good food and only about 15 mins away from Gigrin farm where we spent a wonderful afternoon watching red kites come in for feeding.

Superb welsh bungalow - book it

Looked online for a late 5 day stay in Wales for six people during the school half term break and stumbled onto this property which looked OK.
Well, we stumbled onto a little jem. The property was perfectly clean and well looked after, being approx 15 years old and next door to the farmhouse (by 100 yds). Ample parking space for two cars plus a garage if required (wish I'd taken my motorbike as could have stored it in the garage).
The three bedrooms were comfortable as was the large lounge which would seat nine if required. Nice open fire in the lounge with wood supplied. Fully equiped kitched made for easy self catering but we ventured out to the local pub a couple of times.
Slightly difficult to find the property up a long single track lane but this in itself was good as you are certainly in the quiet.
I would recommend this bungalow to anyone who wants to stay in this area as it's central between the Brecons and the west coast.
Owner's Response: Enjoy this property within its own surroundings with perfect peace and quite - but still only 3 miles from the nearest town here in Mid Wales. Signs to property are now in place and our lane is only used by ourselves and the holiday let. Please contact us for any last minute stay and to check availability. Thank you Ruth
