If you´re looking for a place close to the beach and you´re a nature's lover, you'll find Serra da Arrábida the perfect destination for your holidays. We'll be glad to welcome you at our house located in the heart of the Natural Park of Serra da Arrábida, and to give you all the guidance you may need to take the best advantage of your stay. At the house, you’ll find: 1 bedroom with 3 beds; 1 couple bedroom; 1 sofa bed; 2 bathrooms; 1 toilet; full equipped kitchen contiguous with the dining room; living room with fireplace, video projector and stereo system; garden with barbecue, swimming pool, and several spots to relax and enjoy your stay! The house is equipped with central heating. There will be also a car at your disposal.

The Natural Park of Serra da Arrábida is a protected area due to its high value at biodiversity. For this reason, the park is currently being proposed as an UNESCO World Heritage site. Here you'll find a magnificent natural environment to discover, either by Car, Trekking or Cycling. At the slope of the mountain, you'll find lovely small beaches of fine sand, no waves and no wind, where you can also do Canoeing, Pedal-Boat, Diving, Sailing and, of course, relaxing! The beaches of Figueirinha, Creiro or Galapos can be reached by a 10 min. driving; the friendly City of Setúbal stays at 5km and offers a wide range of high quality seafood and fish restaurants and, of course, the world famous Moscatel Wine; the charming Village of Azeitão stays at 10km and offers you the best of its gastronomy: the “Torta de Azeitão” (kind of a cake) and the Azeitão cheese. At 20km driving, you’ll find the picturesque fishing Village of Sesimbra. Lisbon stays at 30km.

Additional information about rental rates

  • Weekly Rates with 1 car for 5 people:
    November to December 2009 - 750€
    January to May and October 2010 - 895€
    June and Sepetember 2010 - 1.075€
    July to August 2010 - 1.375€
    Rates include: cleaning services once a week; transportation from and to the airport; bicycles; 2 canoes; towels and sheets.

    Reservation and Payment: Advanced payment for 30% of total is required, by bank transfer within 3 working days after banking details are sent to you by e-mail. Please e-mail us the bank transfer confirmation. Reservation will be confirmed to you by e-mail, upon receipt of payment. Remaining rental payment can be done either by bank transfer or cash, providing that it will be received on the day of arrival, at the latest. We request a 300€ cash deposit at the check-in, which will be returned at the check-out upon house checking.
  • Changes to Confirmed Reservations: If you wish to change your confirmed reservation please contact us to check the house availability. If the new requested dates are available, we'll be glad to proceed with your request but, please note that your request must be made with a prior notice of 3 months for high/medium season reservations and 1 month for low season reservations. In case you’ll not be able to comply with these timings the higher reservation rate will be applicable. For example: if your reservation is for August and in July you require a change for October, we will charge you the August rate. A handling fee of 50€ is applied for each change.
    Cancellation: For refund of reservations canceled, the above mentioned prior notices also apply.

Check-in and Check-out : At the high/medium season (from June to September) the Check-in is at 5 pm and the Check-out at 10 am, for cleaning purposes. However, these timings may be adjusted to your needs, according with the house availability. Please let us know your expected arrival time. We will welcome you at the house and provide you with all necessary information about the accommodations and surroundings. We will also meet you at check-out in order to check the house, return your cash deposit, have your feedback on the house and say goodbye!

No me voy a extender mucho, seré breve y conciso. Alquilar esta casa en octubre de 2009 me hizo pasar uno de los mejores veranos de mi vida y un buena inversión. Altamente Recomendable.
I am going to try to say this in short words. To rent this house in october 2009 it made me to have the best sumer holidays in my life, it is a good investment. With a very high recomendation.

What a place!

This house is a pearl we found hidden in Arrábida. Well designed, equiped
with details amazingly well taken care of for our delight. Time stops in such cozy atmosfere. Great outdoors and gardens. This house has it all and "Serra da Arrábida"...well, just go there.

Help yourself, feel like home, just relax and enjoy said Luzia... and so we did.
It was one of those weekends worth living for... Thanks Luzia

“Dear Luzia, dear Nuno,

We have spent two exceptional weeks of summer vacation in your wonderful house and were very honoured to be your first guests.
The modest and modern architecture immediately makes one feel relaxed and it gives wonderful views towards the nature all around. We really enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere in the Sierra hills, taking a refreshing bath in the pool and did not stop reading in the hanging matrace. You really thought of everything regarding the equipment – the kitchen, the stereo, video, extra blankets etc.. Your house is warm and cosy and you feel home at once. “
