The thriving market towns of Skibbereen, Bantry and Schull are within easy reach, and hold weekly markets selling local produce. West Cork is known for its welcoming friendly atmosphere, and music is mainly on the menu in the quaint pubs. The landscape is spectacular, beautiful walks, and hidden beaches and coves are in abundance. There are also two 18 hole golf courses in the area, along with sailing, scuba diving and whale and dolphin watching. In addition we have a friend and neighbour, Chris, who is a professional chef, and would be happy to entertain you, along with his partner Pattie, in their lovely home, or alternatively prepare a special meal, and deliver it ready cooked, which is a bonus, after a long day exploring. Accomodation was first class with everything clean and well maintained. We were the first family the cottage had been rented out to and it was immaculate. Owner lived next door and they were very pleasent and welcoming. Description was spot on with all modern facilities. Great accomodation and would highly reccommend this cottage.
