Kyler Vetter or George Vetter
We are George & Paula Vetter. We live in Cannon Beach with our two teen-age children. We built Village Centre in 1988 and included two studio apartments overlooking the courtyard. Our business, El Mundo For Men, was the anchor tenant till last year when we closed. George opened a gallery of his photography - George Vetter FotoArt in 2004 in Village Centre. Our manager is Lo Hanners. Her friendly smile and welcoming demeanor will greet you upon your arrival.
George arrived in Cannon Beach in 1977 and immediately fell in love with the charm of the town and it's environs. The purpose of the visit was to consider Cannon Beach as a place to open a store. El Mundo was opened Memorial Day 1977. Paula joined George in Cannon Beach in 1986 and soon thereafter, Village Centre was constructed.
Being in the middle of downtown Cannon Beach puts all your vacation needs at your fingertips. The beach is just a block away while restaurants, galleries and shops surround you. Once you park your car, you can forget about it. A walk on the beach to Haystack Rock with the surf crashing at your feet is something you'll want to do more than once.
