This apartment is ideal for families that want to enjoy more than beaches or sun in Gran Canaria Isle. The private area with pool, paddle court, gym, gardens and swings allow everybody to feel comfortable. However if you want to visit the city centre or to walk along Canteras Beach, you do not need more than 15-20 minutes walking. The whole apartment is exterior so the light come in during all the day. If you are in Las Palmas for business and desire somewhere to relax after a tiring day, this could be your place. This urban development is very quite and well equipped for wheelchairs an so on. Senior people are welcome and we have in front of us a University Hospital (Dr. Negrin) in case of emergencies.
Where do you play GOLF?:
The apartment is located next to the only golf course of the city, Las Palmeras Golf Sport Urban Resort whose telephones are 0034 928 222 333 / 0034 928 225 522 . Just cross the street and enjoy it. There are restaurants and other sports facilities.
Outside the city you have a broad offer of golf courses (more than 8) but you wil need a car/taxi to get there. Anyhow, Gran Canaria has a distinct competitive advantage over other places in the world. You can enjoy golf 365 days a year

Canteras Beach (Playa de las Canteras) is a popular three kilometre long beach with many different restaurants located along the beach promenade. At the beginning of the beach you can find the Auditorium Alfredo Kraus where a variety of concerts are available during the whole year. Beside the Auditorium there is a surf-school with a great experience in this sport discipline. Vegueta is the old quarter of Las Palmas city and it is located 10 minutes by car from our apartment. We recommend to walk for its streets to get the taste of other centuries, when Christopher Columbus arrived to Las Palmas. There is actually a Museum dedicated to Columbus at Vegueta, in a magnificent old house. Santa Ana Cathedral is an impressive building with a nice square in front of it. 50 metres away from the cathedral you can find Cairasco Square, a charming place where the cultural centre Gabinete Literario and Madrid Hotel are located. An historical place ideal for drinking a cafe in one of its terraces
