Made a good vacation great

We (me, my pregnant wife and 21 month old baby) very lucky to have stumbled across this villa posting when we made a sudden plan to go to the Dom Rep for a week's vacation. I was afraid that I was taking chances choosing something hastily. On the contrary, we could not have asked for anything better.
The villa is very large, with all possible amenities that you could think of (including a toddler bed, baby car seat, phone, internet etc). For those who want to get the local catch and cook it at home, the villa has a large kitchen with all necessary utensils.
It has a beautiful garden, and a pretty private outdoor pool and jacuzzi.
It is set in a gated community with a lot of security.
The Dominican family who take care of the villa are very nice and friendly. I would like to especially recommend Herminio, who was very charming, drove us for sightseeing to several diffferent places, and fortunately, spoke excellent English.
Although we never met the owner, it was a real pleasure dealing with him.
We are definitely going to go back and stay at the same place again, and strongly recommend it for anyone who plans to go there. Having a safe, well equipped place to stay in a foreign country takes out over half the concerns during a vacation, especially for families.
