Villa Raphael is unique in character and design, offering large living space for families or groups of friends. A lovely residence,100 years old that was recently renovated by Nikos the owner,who respected the original features of his grandfather’s house, and created a beautiful spacious villa with comfortable and pleasant interior design . The villa is conveniently located in the centre of the old village Plaka, near Almirida sandy beach and it is quietly positioned at the end of a pedestrian alley. Guests are spoilt for choice to either relax by the pool in the private courtyard, enjoy the views from the top floor large veranda, or take a short stroll to the village square for wining and dining. Entrance to the villa is through the enclosed courtyard where there is plenty of space for lounging around the swimming pool. Each bedroom is like a private suite with sleeping area, living area and en-suite facilities. All rooms have direct access to the living/dinning room.

Nearest Ferry: Souda at 15 Kilometres

Almirida, 4 kilometres from Kalives, originally a small fishing village, remains an unspoilt small resort. There are a variety of water sports available and many tavernas right on the sea front serving locally caught fish and fresh local cuisine. The beautiful Blue Flag awarded beaches in Almyrida have soft Golden sand, clear water and are very safe for children as they shelve gently to the sea. Sun beds and umbrellas are available. There is a bakery, several bars, supermarkets and shops. A taxi rank and bus services into Chania town are all within easy walking distance.Two kms from Almirida, village Plaka has several coffee shops and a couple of tavernas serving excellent home made food.The village has a lovely square dominated by the local church and surrounded by shady trees ,coffee shops and a couple of tavernas serving local specialities.
