Milford on Sea is a quiet village with a pebble beach (just one block away from the property) and views across the sea to the Isle of Wight and the Needles Lighthouse. The village also has grocery shops, cafes, a wine merchant, a bank, Post Office, Pharmacy & medical centre as well as good Pubs and Restaurants serving excellent food. Enjoy a relaxing stroll along the cliff path and watch the sun go down or hire bikes & ride through the New Forest to see the wild life, ponies, deer and cattle. Maybe visit Lymington which holds a market every Saturday. Catch a ferry from Keyhaven to Hurst Castle & the Isle of Wight as a foot passenger or take the car via the crossing from Lymington to Yarmouth for a day excursion. If you enjoy stately homes visit Broadlands at Romsey and the famous Exbury Gardens. Beaulieu Motor Museum, the home of Lord Montague, should not be missed if your passion is cars. There are indoor swimming pools at the nearby towns of Lymington and New Milton.

A deposit of £50 cash is required on arrival against breakages, damage or excessive cleaning. This is refundable when the property has been checked. A starter food pack will be provided for weekly rentals.

    If 2 weeks are booked and no weekly clean required a discount of £50 will be offered.

We stayed in the Beach House in October 2009 and had a very enjoyable time. The house was spotless and extremely well equipped. The welcome pack was very useful indeed and the walking maps and guide books were very informative and helped us plan several walks in the New Forest-especially useful was the waterproof map on a very wet day! We enjoyed a trip to the Isle of Wight and took advantage of a voucher in the information pack in the house which saved us loads.
The location near the sea is lovely but there is also a great walk through the woods to the village where there is no lack of pubs/restaurants and shops. The walk to Hurst Castle is a must, as is a trip to Lymington. We will definitely be recommending this house to our friends.

Excellent Holiday Cottage

We have been walking the British Coast for many years - each year we rent a Cottage and explore the next section of coast. So..........we have much experience of the variety of accommodation available, and this cottage is one of the very best.
Thank you Teresa for your caring, helpfulness, and attention to detail. The generous welcome pack was also much appreciated.
For those interested in walking the coast, the walk from Milford to Barton (3 miles) is very rewarding, with splendid views and superb colours in the landslip sections.

Excellent holiday

We had a wonderful time on holiday; the house was fantastic with every comfort you could imagine. All the extra finishing touches that Teresa had done like flowers and bread, cheese, jam and all the things after a long journey it makes you feel at home. I would defiantly recommend this house and the owner was very helpful and made herself available if any problem did arise. 10 out of 10 highly recommended. Thanks Teresa.

Very close to the Beach

The accommodation was excellent and very clean. It was nice having the bed made up on arrival so the holiday could start straight away.
We were well looked after by the owner who provided lots of booklets and leaflets on sites & places to visit.
I would highly recommend this property and have done to my friends.
There was plenty of local pubs and restaurants in the village so we didn't have to drive. We also had some cycles delivered to us which was fun.
The New Forest was amazing with wild ponies just wandering everywhere. The beach and cliff walk was only at the end of the road so a morning swim before breakfast was easy.
We will come back as didn't manage to fit everything into just one week.
