Wake up to the sun streaming into your room, walk outside onto the deck, breathe, take in the feeling of being on a lake surrounded by quaint houses and beautiful trees. Our aim is to provide a vacation cottage that is comfortable and leisurely from a restful getaway for 1, romantic weekend for 2, or memorable family vacations. Cottage sits right on the lake, has its own private beach and pier. 50' of sandy beach front. The lake is clean and clear for swimming off the pontoon and paddleboat. View the lake from living room and dining area. Your family will love your vacation in this home away from home! Three bedrooms; one king, a full, and one with two twin beds (one is a trundle) which will be fun for the kids. The large kitchen with dinette includes everything your family needs to make simple meals during your stay including dishes, some staple items, toaster oven, microwave, stove, refrigerator, coffee maker, picnic table and outdoor gas grill. Home has new laminate floors throughout and is air conditioned. Livingroom boasts a 42' flat screen TV with DVD player, a queen sleeper sofa and a cozy electric fireplace. There is a 27' TV with Nintendo 64 game system in the kids room. Bathroom has a shower (no tub). Bed and kitchen linens are provided for your comfortable stay. Bring bath and beach towels and DVDs from home.

About Becca

This is our personal home away from home too and we hope you have many great family memories here. It is a great lake (not overcrowded), great fishing and very relaxing, but also lots to do for kids too. We enjoy playing family games (that we never make time for at home) and eating smores after dark!

Why Becca chose Cassopolis

Little Fish Lake covers 139 acres and has a water depth of 40’, an all sports lake, and great fishing for bass, bluegill and crappie. There is a public launch nearby. The lake is quiet (not a lot of fast boats). You are welcome to bring your own watercraft. There is no motor size limit on the lake. We have kayaks, a paddle boat, and a small Pontoon boat for your enjoyment. You can fish off the pier too (Fishing license required). Please make sure you are familiar with Michigan lake boating rules. Basic rules for the lake: no wake after 6pm. Stay at least 100ft away from swimmers. Drive counter clockwise on the lake.

Little Fish Lake is an all-sports lake but quiet and not overly populated. Nearby Golf courses, Hayloft ice cream shop in nearby Decatur. Lutz's drive in diner and Drive In Movie theater in Dowagiac. Visit historical grand old city, Dowagiac. New Casino opening soon.

Rental Rates for this vacation cottage rental in Cassopolis, Michigan

Payment is usually accepted in the quoted currency () unless the currency and the amount is specifically agreed in advance with the owner / advertiser.

Notes

  • $200 deposit, Pontoon use included
  • $750 US/week $135night
  • Weekly vacation rentals are from Sunday to Saturday unless otherwise arranged.
  • Check-in: 4:00 PM. Check-out: 10:00AM sharp (to allow time for cleaning)
  • Book by phone/email. $200 Deposit and contract is necessary upon booking to HOLD.
  • Deposit is Not part of Rental payment. 3 night minimum stay $135 per night

Perfect Quaint Getaway!

The family needed a quiet, relaxing getaway and this quaint cottage fit the bill! We enjoyed 4 days and 3 nights of family fun. The owners have provided fun in the sun with two kayaks, a paddle boat and a pontoon. We fished in the morning, swam and kayaked in the afternoon and cruised on the pontoon until the sun set. The lake was so clear and quiet, which suprised us considering we stayed during a holiday weekend. (For a small lake community, they had some great fireworks!) We felt like we had our own beach getaway the way the house was decorated. The house was definately big enough for our family of 4 with room to spare for a few extra friends (the next time around!) With only needing to pack towels and food with our clothes, this was an easy mini vacation!
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway
