Photos and Description of the Galveston vacation cottage rental

Our two level, air-conditioned, four bedroom/four bath oceanfront cottage in Pointe West, Galveston is the perfect getaway and only one cottage away from the boardwalk to the beach. With an easy walk over the dunes you are just steps away from the beach. It has unobstructed Gulf and beach views and two oceanfront balconies for outdoor enjoyment. The main living areas are on the first level - living room with TV, dining, gourmet kitchen, balcony with outdoor dining and lounge seating for enjoying the ocean sounds and breeze while visiting with friends, taking a nap, watching the sunset or relaxing with a good book. The second level has three more bedrooms - One king bedroom with a private bath, one queen bedroom with an adjacent bath in the hall and the bunk room - with two, twin over full bunks, a private bath with tub and shower, sectional seating area for watching TV, using the playstation or playing games and balcony with endless views of the beach and ocean

All four bedrooms have plush linens with lightweight duvet covers and ceiling fans. One queen bedroom is on the first floor with the bath in the hall. - the master bedroom with king size bed, HDTV with DVD player, private bath with Jacuzzi tub and oceanfront balcony; a queen bedroom with private bath and streetside balcony; and the 'bunk' bedroom with two full-size beds stacked into a bunk bed – comfortable for either two adults (one in each bed) or four small children (two in each bunk) - with a private bath. The second floor has all the common living/dining areas and one queen bedroom with a shared bath. The second floor oceanfront balcony off the living room has sectional seating for enjoying the ocean sounds and breeze while visiting with friends, taking a nap, watching the sunset or relaxing with a good book.

The cottage has an open floor plan with the kitchen overlooking the dining and living room, The Living Room has an HDTV and the Bunk Rooms has an HDVT with Playstation and remotes (no games). Other amenities include: complimentary wireless internet, washer/dryer, outdoor grill and fully-equipped gourmet kitchen. Our cottage is beautifully furnished and appointed for adults but is also child-friendly with a baby gate, pack-n-play and high chair provided. The beaches are groomed and no vehicles are permitted on the beach which provides a clean and safe environment. Smoking is prohibited and no pets are allowed to keep the cottage fresh for new and return renters. The cottage is not available for rental by high school or undergraduate college students. All linens are provided. Daily cleaning service available upon request.

Rental rates are for use of the cottage and access to Pointe West's groomed beaches. If you would like to use the Pointe West Beach Club and Sunset Pool Club during your stay, we will register your group as our guest, and a ONE TIME, flat $25 fee FOR YOUR ENTIRE GROUP will be paid DIRECTLY to the club for use when you check in.

True pleasure weekend with family and friends (4 adults, 5 children ages 3-6). Home was the best appointed and well stocked. Kitchen had ANYTHING you might need, even shrimp forks! Furnishings lovely. Space perfect. Bunk room had many games and books on shelves. Bedding dreamy, tasteful. Super clean. Beach towels appreciated! Looking for a reason to come back over the summer. Owner had very detailed and easy instructions regarding directions and property. FANTASTIC, had to write a review! Beach was groomed 3 times a day during our stay!

Fabulous beach front home!

This beach front home is fabulous. It is beautifully decorated and the pictures don't do it justice. The kitchen is stocked with everything plus more. Most importantly, this place was CLEAN. I rent yearly in Galveston and typically have to do some cleaning before I settle in. That was not the case here.
We hope to go back again in the future.

Perfect is RIGHT!

I recently returned from a trip to this cottage with my family (6 adults, 1 nine year old, and 1 seven month old). This cottage met all of our needs! The photos do not do this place justice...it is BEAUTIFUL! We felt so pampered with the plush linens, designer furnishings, and endless amenities. The only thing we needed was our clothes. The property was VERY well maintained (both inside and outside). The owner was VERY responsive to any questions we had. The staff at the Pointe West Beach Club was super friendly. They helped us find a local photographer to take family photos on the beach during our stay. The infinity pool and toddler pool at the Beach Club were a great alternative to the beach. We also took a trip to the new Pleasure Pier in town which was a big hit for my nine year old nephew. I definitely recommend this property. We look forward to coming back for our 2013 family vacation!

This is one rental that we can't wait to return to, the house and location is perfect to just get away. Our grand kids loved the ocean and beach clubs lazy river. The house had everything that you can possibly need. What a great time we had just sitting on the deck and enjoying the ocean. The beach area was the cleanest I have ever seen in galvestion. the house is a little way out of town but there is a fish market at pirates and a small grocery store at jamician beach and a great resturant (Nates) at jamacian beach so what else do you need. The only problem that we had was alot of mosquitos ( but it had rained for a week before we got there)

Great property, lots of room and a perfect view. The kids room with the double bunks were great for our 4 kids. The place was as advertised on VRBO, clean, quite. Would recommend for sure to anyone that is visiting the area. I have used VRBO many times and have used the payment and reservation system for all of them as it is very simple to use.
