Photos and Description of the Darby vacation cabin rental

This 3 bdrm 2 bath home has been renovated and offers western style comfort. Large mature trees provide privacy. The covered patio is the perfect place to enjoy this river environment & views while BBQing or just relaxing. One of the favored fishing holes on the river is just off the back patio! The small western town of Darby is right around the corner. Town services include restaurants, antique stores, fly shop with guided trips & rental equipment. Just minutes away is Darby's state of the art library, complete with wireless computer stations or access with your own laptop.

Darby is the gateway to many trail systems into National Forest and Wilderness trails. Darby's Ranger Station has maps and a great information center. Some side trips include digging for sapphires on Skalkaho pass, or a trip into history at the Big Hole Battlefield.

One of the owner's favorite pass time is lounging on the river's edge reading a good book. Come and enjoy!

About Dorene Sain

The River's Edge is owned by the Presley Family. They bought the property as a fishing retreat on the Bitterroot River. They have opened their door to invite guests to come relax and enjoy the simple life on the river!.

This home is located near the town of Darby, pop. 800, the gateway to the Bitterroot National Forest trails and two beautiful lakes.. Only a quick 20 minute drive to Hamilton, the county seat. and population of 3500. We love it because of the unspoiled beauty, and location.

Your stay is right on the banks of the main Bitterroot River! Prime fishing hole a stone's throw away.
