Welcome to Paradise! I have spent the last year – remodeling and decorating this this home to the 9’s.
Where do I start?? Too many adjectives to describe this Estate!
From the moment you enter this home you will feel like you are truly on vacation. This home is 3,500 SF on a ½ acre lot with South facing mountain views with mature trees covering the entire estate. Perfectly manicured lush grass surrounding your private saltwater pool and Jacuzzi with not a neighbor in site.
This home features a Great room with a gorgeous oak pool table THAT CONVERTS TO A DINING TABLE THATS SEATS 12, custom lighting and bar. A wrap around couch that can seat 12. Also manual wall volume control for the speakers above. The living room features a 50” TV - custom mounted above the fireplace with 5.0 surround sound - theater quality.
The saltwater pool area also has seperate outdoor party-time speakers that can be turned on from inside. Outdoor dining table for your enjoyment or after a nice BBQ, 6 lounge chairs and tables to relax after your private swim or Jacuzzi.
The house has been remodeled from top to bottom. It features 2 Master Suites – the first Master has a king size bed and custom shutters also a very large 50” flat screen embedded in the wall with 5.0 surround sound - theater quality. The bathroom is all new (his and hers) Kohler sinks and custom faucets, frameless shower, large jetted Jacuzzi tub. Private toilet. Did I forgot to mention the suspended flat screen TV and manual wall volume control for the speakers above?
The second master offers a king size bed and another flat screen TV that swivels 270 degrees so you can enjoy your favorite program while in bed, or in your private office overlooking the grounds. This suite includes 2 custom ceiling fans. (his and hers) sinks, bathtub/shower and a private toilet. Also 2 French doors for your private entrance to the saltwater pool and grounds.
The third bedroom has a Queen bed with another in wall embedded flat screen TV. Custom shutter for the large window. Custom floor treatment’s and private access to a (jack and Jill) full shower and bath. This has an extremely large ceiling fan with custom spot lighting.
The 4th bedroom also has a Queen bed with another in wall embedded flat screen TV. This room has private full bath and private secluded patio with custom shutters, ceiling fan.
The 5th bedroom has a Queen bed. Custom shutter for the large window. All new dresser drawers and private access to a (Jack and Jill) full shower and bath. This has an extremely large ceiling fan with custom spot lighting.
Steve Slawinski was born and raised in the South Bay, California. Living only a few blocks from the beautiful Hermosa Beach sand, Steve spends his weekends close to the surf with his family and friends. Enjoying the position of CEO with IC Plus, Inc, Steve still has time for his passion of interior design. He has designed his beautiful beach home from its construction to imported furniture, from paint to every last detail down to light switches. Steve has taken this passion and talent to masterfully design his Rancho Mirage Mini Estate. His vision encompasses the atmosphere of a lavish, yet warm and inviting vacation home. Steve loves to cook and entertain family and friends while promoting fun for all!

What sets this property apart from other vacation rentals is you will feel like you are staying at your own private resort with all the comforts of home. This location is unsurpassed with the quiet serenity of the mountain background in a secluded residential neighborhood, yet just minutes away from the thriving and aesthetically pleasing shopping/dining center known as 'The River.' A seven lake golf resort is just around the corner, and golf clubs are at the house, available for use by guests.
Our group had a fantastic time. The house was big enough for all 5 of us to have our own bedrooms. We enjoyed the game room, pool table, as well as the hot tub. It's a very nice open floor plan with plent of space to enjoy both indoor & outdoor entertainment. It is so close to the River, you can walk if you want. We would stay here again!
My guests and I enjoyed a wonderful summer retreat in this amazing rancho mirage home. The house included every amenity you can think of and was very clean and beautifully renovated. From the top of the line electronics/TVs, to the pool table, and large bedrooms, it was the perfect place to entertain my guests. The house made our vacation that much more memorable.
Our party consisted of 6 people including 2 children, ages 7 & 9, and one very active 91 year old. We really enjoyed this home. There's a lot of room so everyone could be together when we wanted and get some alone when desired. The owner pays attention to all the details and our satisfaction was his highest goal. We had an issue with the pool heat, and he offered to send someone over right away to fix it! We can't wait to go back.
The description plus the photos of this property were accurate. We chose this rental because there were many things to do on site in addition to swimming, and our families enjoyed having activities for relaxation. It is very spacious and accomodated our large group with ease. This property has a great central location for shopping of all kinds: groceries, clothes, art, and other attractions such as the Living Desert Zoo and the Aerial Tramway.
The property owners responded quickly to a question, and resolved our problem. We recommend this property.
The house was within walking distance of The River,a shopping, dining and theater. Complex. I'm not sure why the name is The River. The hills are behind the house within a few blocks. The area behind the house has many hiking trails at different levels of difficulty.
he pictures of the house were excellent. We expected to be a able to accommodate a few more people,as 2 futons were listed on the web site. Futons would have been perfect for the children. We used a blow -up mattress on the floor.
The owner was very good about answering questions, always returning m calls within a reasonable Time.
THe property was fairly clean,but there was an ant problem in one of the bathrooms.
I would recommend this property to others and would like to return again myself. I had some problems adjusting the temperature of the pool. I probably needed more help with the remote. I called the number for the pool service, but really did not have it adjusted until the Friday before we left.
We enjoyed the close proximity to shopping,especially grocery shopping. We went to the zoo,.shopped ElPaseo, went to dinner in Palm Springs, and also had lunches at The River.
My wife and I are picky when it comes to vacation homes and after choosing this rental we were happy to have done so. Having all large beds (King & Queen) was great in accommodating 4 couples without having to fight over who would get the small room or the twin beds. ;) It was an added bonus to have a pool table and dart board to play with when not swimming or cooking. The location could not have been much better, just blocks from The River outdoor mall made it easy to shop or find a place for dinner. We want to thank he owner for giving us the opportunity to stay at his vacation home.
This property is located in the heart of it all. Just minutes away from shopping, restaurants, bars, movie theaters, day activities, and night-life, Rancho Mirage provides all the perfect activities to make your vacation second to none. Some favorites include bike tours over the geological formation of the San Andreas Fault, trying out Lady Luck at the Agua Caliente Casino, turning back time at the Children's Discovery Museum, brushing up on your golf swing at one of the hundreds of Country Clubs, or fading away to the lull of a deep-tissue massage at one of the near-by day spas. There is endless fun to be had if you can peel yourself away from the comforts and luxuries of this second-to-none vacation rental.
