Poor communication, beautiful town

The views in and around Ouray are just gorgeous- a stay in this area is well worth the trip! When we arrived to the Apteka apartment, however, the unit had yet to be cleaned. We were upgraded to a beautiful town home on the north edge of town (Elkhorn Townhomes) but not as easily accessible to the downtown area. I was surprised that of the property managers began texting us instead of calling us. Pool passes that were mentioned in this ad were not provided without our request. Upon request, 3 passes instead of 4 (which were in our party) were provided. No apologies were made from the company and we were quickly made to feel as though we were an inconvenience.
The Apteka is in a great part of town. Once we were able to move to this property we did not use our cars for the rest of our time in Ouray. Location would make this place worth renting especially at a discounted price but be sure to be in communication with the company ahead of time as this did not seem to be common practice for them.

Owner's Response: Thank you for your review. We did have an issue with the check in but we felt that upgrading someone to a spacious 3 bedroom was fair for 1 night, we did offer the upgrade for the enterity of the stay as well.
Regarding the pool passes while the guest did not meet minimum stay requirements for the promotion we still provided the passes to help with the inconvenience of moving.
We take every guest review seriously and will work harder to avoid situations like this going forward.
