Mins from Main St Westport this antique is set in the heart of the picture perfect area which used to house the likes of Helen Keller, Ernest Hemingway and legendary Jessica Tandy and Hume Cronyn.

Wide plank chestnut flrs, high ceilings, updated kitchen and bths. Lovely linens and towels. Listen to the rush of the river and gaze at the stars! Snow plowing and Maid service included.

I am a Jack of all trades Master of All who came to this country as a student Ions ago. Originally an actress I segwayed into a couple of different carreers, but am now back to acting, writing and directing. Travelling a lot because of work I am open to share my little Shangri La with you!

Why Erle Lutzky chose Westport

I fell in love with this property because of the sense of history and warmth it excudes. I saw it the first time a late afternoon in November in pouring rain and knew the minute I walked in that my search was over. The very important aspect was the proximity to Manhattan where I was working at the time. I loved that I could walk out w/my coffee in my nightgown and in one hour and fifteen min be at my desk in Bloomingdale's advertizing!

What makes this farmhouse unique

The Aspetuck Corners was a gathering place for artists and intellectuals back in the twenties and Louis Pfeiffer (a wealthy industrialist from the city) who owned most of the properties at the time, restored and beautified the whole area. Hemingway who was married to his niece (his first wife), is supposed to have finished

'A Farewell to Arms' in this house.

We are ten minutes from serious shopping and beaches in Westport as well as in Fairfield and there are public golf courses everywhere.
