After more than 20 years of sampling the best of what the Gulf Coast of Florida has to offer vacationers, we recently discovered this truly exceptional Gulf of Mexico location: Manasota Key – just off of Englewood, Florida. It is the closest thing we have experienced to a quiet, yet active waterfront resort. This 2,800 square foot 3 bedroom and 2.5 bath condominium sits on one of the most enjoyable barrier islands Florida has to offer. It’s brand new and we have decorated it in the Florida style. The master suite is huge. 2nd bedroom has two queen beds and 3rd two twin beds. The kitchen if fully equipped for those who wish to cook. The lanai looks directly over the Gulf of Mexico. There are 3 TVs and high speed internet connectivity. The island is quiet, friendly and a place where you can quickly feel at home. Make new friends and acquaintances or hang out on your secluded beach. Manasota Key safely allows you to walk, bike and drive along the main island road without congestion.

Manasota Key is a delightful holiday retreat. Quiet, laid back, and what many call “the real Florida.” A slip of barrier island between the Gulf of Mexico and the Inland Waterway, you are just steps or minutes away from fishing, boating, golf, jet-skiing, and great restaurants and shopping. Our condo is right on the Gulf looking over the water where you can watch dolphins swimming, pelicans fishing and the Sun setting in a blaze of orange. Only 19 condos share two heated swimming pools and a private tennis court. Just north is the town of Venice with abundant shopping. And we’re a pleasant drive from Sarasota where you can enjoy live theatre, music and an array of cultural activities. Right outside is the beach known for wonderful shelling - and where where you can see where the sea turtles have laid their eggs during nesting season. And hour and a half and you're in Tampa, home of Busch Gardens and 3 hours away is Orlando and Disney World, Sea World and Universal Studios.

The whole idea is 8 people can sleep in bedrooms, leaving the living area open for social activities once the children have been put to sleep.

Notes: This condo is our family's home away from home. It is fully equipped to provide two or three generations of a family with a great holiday experience. You will know immediately that you are in a home and not a 'rental property.' We only rent to people who wish a clean, comfortable and family style vacation. The complex is mostly owners and we want to have guests who will respect our place and our neighbours comfort. Please - no fishing parties, groups of men who want to party, bunches of guests who want to get wild. Phone conversations with all prospective guests is required. We like to know a little bit about the people with whom we will be sharing our home. Thank you in advance for your kind consideration.
