THIS IS BEAVER LAKES'S GREAT ESCAPE! Large gameroom (25 feet by 30 feet, the size of a three car garage) that is separate from the main house. It has a full size pool table, foosball, air-hockey and ping-pong. THE REST OF THE HOUSE IS ALL ON ONE LEVEL (Great for seniors and small kids). Huge main room (living room, dining room, kitchen) is 24 feet by 44 feet. The 2,900 square foot deck is like having another home attached to the house it is so big. Lakefront, lake activities, and lake beauty sum up this beautiful Beaver Lake vacation home. Secluded, wooded acres surrounding this home, Beaver Lake’s Great Escape, give it a peace you won’t find many places on earth! Bring your boat. The water is wonderful. With a comfortable sleeping capacity of 14, your reunion, family vacation, or group retreat will find plenty of space for all. Located less than 20 minutes from the historic Victorian village of Eureka Springs, Arkansas, about an hour and a half from Branson, Missouri, and Silver Dollar City, and with many activities to choose from in the area, your trip will be one you will never forget!

The main home is all on one level with a spacious, vaulted-ceilinged living room, dining and kitchen area allowing your entire group to gather, while the three bedrooms/two baths afford privacy. Without moving your car you may enjoy swimming, hiking, bird-and-wildlife watching on 1.2 secluded acres.

Beaver Lake provides 28,000 acres of fun! The Great Escape is approximately 75 feet from the shore and has 174 feet of lake frontage, marina closeby. Excellent trout fishing is only 5 minutes away below Beaver Dam on the White River which is restocked with 80,000 trout annually. Guide services, located close by, can take you trout, striper, white bass, or fishing, lending you expertise.

Lake activities abound! Scuba diving provides a 20’ visibility and a new dive shop has opened 5 minutes from the home with air facilities, lessons, etc. “The Cliffs”, in the vicinity of the dam, provides picnicking, scuba diving, swimming and hiking, as well as wonderful views. Sailing, water skiing, canoeing, snorkeling also are other activities enjoyed on beautiful Beaver Lake!

Family of 7

We loved our time at the Great Escape! It was the perfect place for me to do a puzzle, read a book, and drink coffee on the deck while enjoying the view. Our teenagers enjoyed the game room and all its amenities. Our preteens had a great time exploring the grounds and playing. We used the large living room to play games and watch the TV. The kitchen was well stocked and big enough for us to cook comfortably. We all had ample space to not feel like we were on top of each other. We loved our great escape! Oh, and we all loved the hot tub!

Spring Break/Saint Partick's Day 2015

  • 5 of 5

A group of 10 of us came down from Iowa for 4 nights at The Great Escape. It was a perfect retreat, with a mix of relaxation and fun depending if we wanted to stay at the house, or head into town for Saint Patrick's Day festivities! The living room and kitchen were great for accommodating the large group, and the game room was a great place to hang out. The GE was clean and the kitchen was stocked with all the cooking tools we could ever need, even spices! We would come back in a heartbeat. Not only was the owner incredibly helpful and kind, but everyone we met in town was as well! The regions really is beautiful, and the hospitality of everyone made for a wonderful vacation.

Great Lake House and Perfect Location

  • 5 of 5

Myself and group of friends and family stayed here for my bachelor party. We wanted something more laid back and peaceful rather than going to the city since we all have a pretty busy lives. This place was perfect. The house has plenty room and the game room was a nice bonus that most places don't have to offer. The house is in a nice quiet location. We were even able to watch deer from the deck. The owner was really kind and helpful. He came by just to make sure we didn't need anything and offered information and help if needed. We hope to make another trip here sometime with more of the family in the near future.

Wonderful Snowy holiday

  • 5 of 5

This is an amazing property. The lake and forest views are phenomenal, the hot tub outside, game room downstairs, lake, miles of hikeable property, and proximity to ES mean you will always have choices. There's even Direct TV for lazy evenings. The best part may be the owners. We happened to book during a surprise snow storm. Bay checked on us multiple times and even helped shuttled my sisters in and out since the snow kept them from getting their car in. I had to stay because my car was stuck at the bottom. If It weren't for Bay physically getting me out, (AAA was no help) I might still be there. (Maybe that would be okay??)

BEUTIFUL AND CONVINIENT LAKE HOUSE

  • 5 of 5

WE DECIDED TO USE THIS LAKE HOUSE TO CELEBRATE BEFORE MY BROTHERS WEDDING AND IT WORKED OUT GREAT. PLENTY OF ROOM AND FULLY FURNISHED WITH EVERYTHING YOU NEED. COMFORTABLY ROOMED 12 PEOPLE IN BEDS, NOT ON THE FLOOR AND ON COUCHES. NICE LOCATION ON THE LAKE AND WE HAD A BLAST IN EUREKA SPRINGS WHILE THERE. WE ALSO VISITED THE LEATHERWOOD LAKE CITY PARK AND HIKED AROUND...VERY BEAUTIFUL THERE. BAY WAS VERY NICE AND ALWAYS EASILY REACHED VIA PHONE CALL...HE EVEN LET US HAVE A LATE CHECKOUT. THE ONLY NEGATIVE THING I CAN SAY ABOUT THE WHOLE PLACE IS THAT THERE ARE NO STAIRS CONNECTING THE GAME ROOM IN THE BASEMENT TO THE UPSTAIRS PART OF THE HOUSE. YOU HAVE TO WALK AROUND OUTSIDE TO GET THERE...WHICH IS NOT REALLY THAT BAD UNLESS ITS RAINING OR SOMETHING. OVERALL WE HAD A GREAT TIME AND WE PLAN TO GO BACK IN THE FUTURE. THANKS BAY

Autumn Weekend Stay '14

  • 5 of 5

We stayed for a wonderful 3 day weekend. The leaves were really beginning to change when we arrived and by the time we left, the foliage had almost fully changed to fall colors. Deer came into the back yard and encountered them several times going to and from the property. Quite Amazing!! The view from the balcony were awesome. We spent time in Eureka Springs. It is a nice quaint town with many small shops. We walked some nearby trails, and spent time relaxing on the balcony and enjoying some very delicious homemade meals. The house had everything we needed to make meals and BBQ. The owner spent time making sure we arrived safely as we had arrived late and it was very dark on unfamiliar country roads. He even checked to see how everything went when we departed. We also thought the tasks to be completed upon departure and the cleaning fee were very reasonable. Overall, it was a wonderful experience for the whole group, and I would definitely recommend this as a great escape for medium and larger groups!!
