Pelican Sound Golf and River Club is a 547 acre gated resort-type community located in Estero just 20 min from the new Southwest Florida International Airport .We are located between Naples and Fort Myers which are both short drives away. Enjoy walking around downtown Naples with all the shops , art galleries , museums and restaurants located along Fifth Avenue or Third Street. The Sound is only 5 min from Interstate 75 and Miromar Outlet Mall and close to other regional shopping centers , movie theaters and a wealth of great restaurants. The area is the spring training home of the Boston Red Sox and The Minnesota Twins as well as other sports at the Germain Arena ( hockey and basketball ).The nearby islands of Captiva and Sanibel provide some great shelling and nature walks.
Our coach home is a first floor end unit, located on the 3rd hole of the Lakes Course with a spectacular view overlooking the lake, the bridge and the golf course. Relax on the lovely screened lanai enjoying breakfast while watching the golfers or have a glass of wine while observing the wildlife and the sun setting over the lake.
The open living area features a comfortable space for visiting and watching TV, including a sofa bed for an extra guest, an airy dining room and fully equipped kitchen. The Master suite has a king bed, walk in closet and large bath with double sinks and walk-in shower. The guest suite has a private bath and twin beds. The Den has a sofa bed (full size) and desk with wireless internet and a wireless network printer in case you need to check up on things back home or do a little work. There is a full laundry room and a garage. Included for your use are beach chairs, umbrella and sand toys, 2 adult bikes, and a propane gas BBQ grill.
As a tenant leasing in Pelican Sound, you may elect to transfer our Pelican Sound Golf and River Club Membership which will entitle you to all of the amenities of an owner in the community.
The Golf Club - The beautiful Mediterranean-style 18,000 square foot clubhouse is the central point of many activities with formal and casual dining.The Main Club House has a main dining room , a grill room and bar , a pro shop , and locker rooms. There are many evening activities such as dances , comedy nights ,theme dinners game nights as well as regular restaurant style evenings throughout the season .
The River Club -is a 5000 square foot restaurant designed for casual indoor and outdoor dining.The river club also has a sports bar with several large TV's to follow your favorite sports teams.There is also a fully outfitted fitness center at the River Club Complex along with a 2400 square foot heated swimming pool.
Pelican Sound has access to offshore beaches reached by 'free' boat shuttle service. A canoe and kayak park offers renters the 'free' use of a canoe or kayak in the wildlife area along the Estero river.
