Located in a wonderful secluded position with superb open views of the Ljubljana valley, Stiska Vas Alpine Lodge is just 10 mins drive from pistes at Krvavec (arguably Slovenia's best ski area), 15 mins drive from Ljubljana airport, within 45 mins of several great day trips (Ljubljana, Lake Bled, Skofja Loka, Kamnik & Velika Planina) and offers plenty of mountain walking / cycling from the doorstep. On the ground floor is an entry room, bathroom & double bedroom with interconnected bunk bedroom. Upstairs is another bathroom, large open plan kitchen, living & dining room with access onto a huge terrace with stunning views & lovely rustic wooden table & BBQ. On the top floor are a further 2 bedrooms (1 double, 1 twin) with balcony overlooking the beautiful views and the pretty garden which is ideal for kids to play in. The house is recently fully renovated with modern fully equipped kitchen (including microwave & dishwasher) & offers covered parking, washing machine, TV, DVD & stereo.

Stiska Vas Alpine Lodge is located in a fantastic position with no immediate neighbours & magnificent uninterrupted views over the Ljubljana basin in the village of Stiska Vas on Krvavec mountain cca 1000m above sea level. 10 mins drive down to the gondola station or up to pistes at Krvavec - arguably Slovenia's best ski area and the closest ski area to an international airport in the world! (15 mins to Ljubljana airport), Fantastic central position for exploring some of Slovenia's best sights - Ljubljana, Lake Bled, Skofja Loka & Velika Planina all within 45 mins and the delightful medieval town of Kamnik only 20 minutes. The pretty town of Cerklje (10 mins drive) has some excellent restaurants plus supermarket, bakery, butcher & other amenities & there are plenty of other options for eating out on top of Krvavec. In Summer Krvavec mountain is very popular for a range of sports – especially cycling & walking and is criss-crossed with beautiful mountain trails to suit all abilities.

Ski: Stiska Vas Alpine Lodge is just 10 mins drive to the pistes at Krvavec or 10 mins down to the bottom gondola station. Krvavec is the closest ski area to an international airport in the world (15 mins to Ljubljana airport) & is arguably Slovenia’s best all round ski area with 100 days skiing guaranteed every year, artificial snow making, good lift infrastructure, stunning views & a wide range of pistes for all abilities going up to 2000m. The resort offers great ski school & is overall a fantastic beginner - intermediate resort. More advanced skiers will enjoy a few steep black & red pistes plus some off piste potential. There are a number of options for eating out & also an igloo 'village' comprising restaurant, bar & hotel! From the house it is usually possible to drive to pistes in Winter in 10 mins but in some snow conditions a 4x4 is advisable to get right to pistes. Alternatively it is possible to walk the final 10 mins or drive down to the gondola station (10 mins from the house)

Other Activities: Large water park 30 mins drive away and plenty of great day trips
