New Luxury Modern Villa located near the center of Cala d'Or overlooking the stunning Marina and Prestigious Yacht Club. The villa sleeps 10 in five double bedrooms, has 3 bathrooms and a private infinity pool with glorious views.The accommodation is set over three floors with three bedrooms on the first floor all overlooking the Marina and the remaining two on the lower ground. The villa has two lounges with Plasma TVs, Satellite, Pool Table and leather sofas.There is a fully fitted modern kitchen with high gloss units and a black granite worktop, center island and bar stools.Fully air conditioned with individual controls in each room. There are two options of dining either inside or on the terrace outside. The villa has been furnished to a very high standard and caters for everybody's needs. Around the pool are sun loungers, pool loungers and a rattan sofa and armchairs. There is parking for two cars.

Very centrally located for all activities including the center of Cala d'Or only a few minutes walk where you will find plenty of shops,restaurants,bars and supermarkets. The Marina is opposite this stunning villa and offers a wide choice of restaurants and bars. There are several beaches and a local land train which can take you into the center of Cala d'Or or the beautiful beach of Cala Mondrago which is a National Park. You can hire your own motor boat for the day or take a relaxing cruise on a yacht. For the thrill seekers a fifty minute ride on the Sea Riders boat is great fun. There is a golf course ten minutes away and the Caves of Drach twenty five minutes drive away. A car isn't necessary as everything is within walking distance.

Other activities: There is lots to do in Cala d'Or and the local area. Charter a boat for the day or have a sunset ride on a sailing boat. The golf course is just ten minutes away and even if you dont play golf it is a perfect location for lunch as the views from the restaurant are spectacular. There is also quad biking just outside Cala d'Or.

Markets: There are several local markets including Santanyi on a Wednesday and Saturday and is about ten-fifteen minutes drive away. There is a large market at Felanitx on a Sunday and that is about twenty minutes drive away. S'Alqueria Blanca only five minutes away has a market every Tuesday. Campos has a market on a Wednesday and a Saturday and is only twenty minutes away.

Places of Interest: There are two water parks on the island, one in Arenal which is about 30 minutes drive and the other in Palma Nova which is 80 minutes drive. The latter has a water show as well as an extensive park . The Caves of Drach is in Porto Cristo and is 25 minutes drive. Inca is good for shopping especially leather items and well worth a visit and is 45 minutes away. There is a pirate show in Magalluf which is great fun for the kids and a good night out. There are several evening shows around Palma and they include Son Amar which is a spectacular show with acrobats,flamenco dancers and singers. There is a train which takes you from Palma to the coastal resort of Soller which takes you through lemon and orange groves and is a lovely day out. Visit the sensational beach of Es Trenc only 25 minutes away and relax in the warm waters, great for the kids as it is very shallow and watch all the luxury motor cruisers drop their anchor for the day

Now this is a villa that I would love to own myself! Upon arrival the owners were there to greet us and show us around which certainly showed a personal touch and how much they care about their villa and the people that rent it. It's even more spacious than it looks in the pictures and if you're like us (expecting at least the same standard of living as at home or more) you could not ask for a better property. It's extremely clean and well looked after with all the modern cons. There were 8 of us and we never felt that we were in "each others pockets". The pool table was used all the time and is a nice touch! The pool is brilliant for both kids and adults. There's a bbq which was well used by us during our week's stay. It was so easy to stay in and cook as the kitchen has anything you could possibly want and sitting outside watching the sunset whilst enjoying a nice glass of Rioja and fresh prawns wrapped in bacon straight from the barbie cannot be beaten! We have been to Cala D'Or 3 times before but this was by far the best accommodation and best location, Cala D'Or is only a stone's throw away with lots of restaurant, bars and shops! In our opinion one of the best restaurants is in the marina but on the opposite side from the villa but unfortunately we cannot remember the name of it! It lies in between a restaurant called Portofino and an exclusive shop which sells very nice clothes. (run by a German lady). If we decide to come back to Cala D'Or this villa would be our first choice of accommodation for sure, not only because the pure luxury and great location but also because the owners looked after us so well and even arranged for us to stay at the Yacht Club (the Club charges a very reasonable fee for a family for a day) to use their facilities (and they were excellent) after leaving the accommodation as our flights were later in the day. It meant that we could still enjoy the weather rather than sitting in the airport for several hours. I would highly recommend this property, excellent value for money! Thanks!

Was the property clean? Spotless I'd say. Oh and modern and well airconditioned. So overall very cool, clean and chrome. We had a week there and it was great to get away from tiresome traffic and a surfeit of neighbours, but I wish we'd gone for longer. But then I guess I'm not alone in that thought! It was a great property, good size with plenty of space. I'd always thought that holidaying en masse as an intergenerational family would be a bit like camping out in an animal menagerie but no problem here. I've been on trips before were people have to camp out in the lounge and it usually turns out to be the one who sleeps all day so it was great to get up and potter about early without having to worry about someone in a coma on the couch.

It was also a high standard of furnishing and no dodgy light fittings or electrics. I guess the fact it is still new would help here, but it's real nice to know that the kids can be safe inside. Also enjoyed the downstairs games room as they can all make as much noise as they like without bothering everyone else. In our family that includes the big kids as well!

Cala D'or was nice not very large but smart and it had a few good shops such as jewellers, perfumery and boutiques. So it's not exactly Paris or Milan but hey no traffic fumes either. Eating was good although we did have an argument over where to eat as there was a lot of choice. I can recommend Aquarius on the marina and also Port Petit - both great for fish food. Oh and at the golf course at Porto Colom they had a smart restaurant - visit at lunchtime for some wonderful views as they stand really high up.

Tried the sea rider - great for energetic teens. Also horse riding at Mondrago much more me.

Scuba Diving was also available but there's never time for everything, and the villa had a really excellent pool. Mind you the best bit was upstairs on the roof terrace overlooking the mountains. Oh I know we were attracted to the place by the marina views but the mountain outlook as so often in Spain is something special. Sitting on the top terrace watching the pinky orange sunset with a glass of vino is hard to beat. I expected the marina etcetera to look good after all it was a beach holiday, but the mountains were a real bonus. Bliss absolute bliss.
