Wonderful week on West Island
We loved our time at the Balsams and on West Island! The house was very warm and comfortable (we felt instantly at home), and was a great blend of the original cottage with an updated new addition (the original space with the knotty pine paneling brought back great memories of a cottage our family had on the Connecticut shore in the 1960's and 1970's). The floor plan was perfect for our family of four and little dog, and we loved the covered porch! The house was well appointed - there wasn't anything that we needed that wasn't there for us already - and we really appreciated the air conditioning, wifi service, and high definition cable TV, as we were there during the 2012 Summer Olympics :-) We also very much appreciate the great communication and customer service throughout our booking and stay. We really enjoyed our stay, and are planning a return visit to West Island. Thanks very much for a truly wonderful experience!
