Situated at the very top of 'Chequer Hill', the property boasts spectacular views of the many surrounding valleys on all sides of the holiday home. It is said that the views from here can only be rivalled by those of the Connemara Mountains to the West. The property is surrounded by large fully finished gardens on three sides, whilst inside, it is fully finished to only the very highest of standards with many luxury items being specially shipped from the United States. Peaceful retreat from which to explore the West.

My family of five, including 13, 15 and 19-year old teenagers would be happy to return to Chequer Hill for another vacation. The house is wonderfully outfitted and very comfortable. Everything is practically brand-new. Grocery shopping in Dunmore is convenient. The location is beautiful, even when it's raining! We almost didn't want to leave the house to go sight-seeing. However, it's easy driving distance to Galway, Cliffden, and Crough Patrick. The drives themselves are beautiful. The Aran Islands are also easily reached by ferry from Galway. Hospitality of the property manager, who lives next door, was great. I would highly recommend this holiday home.
