Photos and Description of the Castilla-Leon vacation apartment rental 3 bedroom apartment to sleep 6 in the centre of the village

The apartment is the whole top floor (85sqm) of a large village house. There are 3 bedrooms with two single beds and a wardrobe in each room. All bed linen is supplied. The kitchen is fully fitted with oven and hob, fridge/freezer, microwave and all crockery, cutlery and utensils. There is a large bathroom fitted with a full size bath and overhead shower and a washing machine. Towels and bath linen is supplied. The lounge/dining area is spacious and airy with seating for 6. There is a broadband internet connection and satellite TV. A large entrance hall leads to the stairs with room for cycle storage etc. The patio is walled and private with table and chairs and a gas barbecue and there is off road parking for 2 cars.

About 100 kms south of Santander and 45 mins north west of Burgos. Surrounded by an escarpment the area has plenty of rivers with the two major ones being the Pisuerga river and the Ebro River. Close by is the Aguilar lake and the Ebro lake both with sandy beaches, water sports and fishing. The village is 6 kms from the old Roman town of Aguilar De Campoo which sits on the beautiful Pisuerga river. The area is dotted with old medieval villages and Roman churches and monuments. There is the fabulous Picos De Europa mountain range just 30 mins away, ideal for skiing in the winter with the ski resort of Alto Campoo. Beaches are just an hour away. This area is ideal for cyclists, walkers, hikers fishermen and horse riders. The city of Burgos is great for shopping and sightseeing. Take a drive and follow the Canal De Castilla from Alar Del Rey to Valencia city a 100kms to the south . A little known but stunningly beautiful part of Spain, the area offers something for everyone.
