Modest apartment on a quiet street, but with lots of convenient shopping near at hand: two good grocery stores, good bookstore, and a number of excellent restaurants, all right around the corner. The Vivanda grocery store is fabulous, like Trader Joe's only maybe better. La Baguette, Don Mamino great for breakfasts, snacks, etc. Apartment on second floor, nice little balcony. Comfortable beds, nice kitchen appliances including washer and dryer. Wifi worked well. Telephone not so useful, since it could not contact or receive calls from cell phones, and everybody in Lima has a cell phone. Advisable to rent cell phones in the airport. Note there are no great views from this apartment. It's very modest but very functional.
