'Spacious Apartment close to the seawall'

Spacious upper level apartment located in the Pleasure Pier District just blocks from the Seawall, beach, Pleasure Pier, restaurants, shopping and entertainment. This spacious Victorian home has two beautiful, but distinctly different apartments. The upstairs one bedroom unit will accommodate 2 to 4 people comfortably. The bedroom includes a queen bed & queen futon plus a queen futon in living room for additional sleeping accommodations. Hardwood floors, tall ceilings, a spacious eat-in kitchen, updated bath with claw foot tub and 15x18 upper deck. Step out and enjoy the wonderful sea breezes on the upper deck relaxing in your hammock with views of the Pleasure Pier or enjoy yourself in the hot-tub/cool tub and tropical gardens. This private home features several patio areas, BBQ grill, 40 ft tall palm trees, porches and curb street parking. Park your vehicle and leave the stress behind. Hibiscus Hideaway is a short 2 block walk to the most recent attraction to the island, the Pleasure Pier plus the beach, seawall and all its attractions.

I grew up on the Gulf Coast and have rarely lived far from the beach. The morning walks on the beach with the cool sand seeping thru my toes, watching the Galveston Air Force (lol....pelicans flying in formation), and all the sounds and sights of living close to the coast have always been in my soul. An avid kayaker for many years I would bring my kayak in from Houston to Galveston and one day found this lovely home which soon became home for me and my kayak. I have spent many years here on the island enjoying the sunsets, walking the beaches and playing in the waters. I wish this joy and peace for you in the time you are at my lovely home.

What makes this apartment unique

This lovely space offers a spacious upper deck with wonderful cool breezes. The lower unit is owner occupied.

It was very comfortable and soooo much better than a hotel. We were a few blocks from the beach, which is where we spent most of our time. Everything was close by. We will stay again.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Pet-friendly, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway
