The property is perched on a mountain side up Cunningham Gulch among high altitude pines. It features 4 bedrooms and 3 baths. It has a kitchen ready to go and a huge great room. It will sleep about 14 people comfortably.
We have lived in the area for about 30 years and love the high mountain backcountry. We raised our family here and use the cabin for a summer retreat.
Mark Webber purchased this cabin in 2001
The high mountain air will make you wish you could stay longer. You can ATV right from the cabin and hike right out the front door. Many generations of miners work the area mines and their legacy is seeped in this gulch. This mine was worked from the 1880's to 1950's bringing forth gold and silver.
You can sit outside and gaze at the unique geological formations and beauty unsurpassed. Many mountain retreats are marred by countless numbers of people. This area is pristine and uncluttered by modern growth. In a relatively short drive you can visit many mining ghost towns and explore old buildings, museums, and cemetaries.
