We bought our Villa whilst selling our Vineyard in France.
We wanted somewhere for our retirement with guaranteed warmth all year round. There is a great social life in Barbados and Bajan hospitality and humour are infectious.
Neil Donnan purchased this villa in 2006

Our Housekeeper, Genevieve, is one of our most valuable assets. She takes great pride in ensuring that all our guests have a relaxed and carefree holiday. In addition to caring for you in your rental charge, she will also cook, or babysit, for a small extra charge.
As I write, I am sitting here in the Clubhouse with my family awaiting our last lunch before we leave for the airport for our trip home. We are so sad to leave!
We flew here from New York with our two sons nearly 8 yrs and 6 yrs, and my mother joined us from London. The Villa has been perfect for us, affording my mother the perfect amount of family time and privacy in her separate Garden Room.
We have spent most of our time either at the pool or the beach at Mullins. We also took the boys on a glass bottomed boat where we swam with the fish and the sea turtles.
Mostly, we relaxed and took advantage of the fantastic Villa and surroundings; we wanted for nothing.
Lastly, our thanks would not be complete without mentioning Genevieve. She is a wonderful, kind lady and couldn't do enough for us. We are sad to leave, particularly to the cold in New York but feel so blessed to have had these two weeks in Paradise. We will be back!
Thank you Neil and Olivia

My family and I stayed at the villa in August 2010. To say it was superb is an understatement. The villa is quite beautiful and the surrounding views are simply breathtaking. Having breakfast and dinner on the balcony was lovely, and Genevieve the housekeeper was simply awesome. Access to the beaches, bars and shops was easy. Even if you don't drive, there is a shuttle that can transport you back and forth throughout the day. The golf course is first class (even if you play as badly as me, ha!), and I had to literally drag my chidren out of the pool every day, as it was so good. There is also a very good gym. All in all I can only thank you to Neil and Olivia for allowing us the pleasure of experiencing their villa. Thank you, and we will be back.

We have just returned from two idyllic weeks at this property and we cannot recommend it highly enough.
The lovely housekeeper Genieveve was there to meet us (despite it being her day off and our flight being delayed) with a big smile and a fabulous supper of chicken salad and coconut pie. She then looked after us everyday, ensuring we didn't have to worry about a thing.
I took four books with me but didn't read any of them as there as it was just so easy to spend all day staring at the view from the balcony: golfers on the 10th tee, or the Caribbean sea.
The description of the property was spot on and everything was spotlessly clean and well maintained. Even when the tumble drier stopped working Genieveve arranged for maintance to come and look at it, all without us being troubled.
The property sits on a lovely quiet spot of the resort yet is within walking distance of the club house, pools, spa and rum shack. Holetown is only five minutes away and has wonderful restaurants and bars right on the beach. And the famous Cliff restaurant is just fifteen minutes away.
We would highly recommend this property to friends and would dearly like to return very soon!
Royal Westmoreland is rated as one of the top 50 Golf courses outside the USA. The 6,870 yard, par 72 Championship course has spectacular views from every hole across the West coast to the Caribbean Sea. The Platinum Coast, only 5 minutes away, boasts idyllic tropical white sandy beaches where you can relax. Mullins Beach nearby is reserved for Royal Westmoreland guests, and has a restaurant, sun beds and showers for your exclusive use. A Luxury spa is also at your disposal featuring the ultimate in pampered treatments. Some of the finest restaurants in the world are within ten minutes drive; The Cliff being the most famous, where you may dine with celebrities. The Lone Star has been called 'Langans by the Sea' and is right on the Beach. Great Plantation houses are within easy reach, such as St Nicholas Abbey and Sunbury House, well worth a visit.
Barbados is a delightfully quiet and safe island where you can relax, soak up the sun and, should you wish, play golf every day.
