3 Bedrooms + Other (See Description), 3 Baths (Sleeps 8)

Our 3 bedroom + house is a great family vacation spot! We can sleep up to 8 (1 Queen, 1 bunkbed, 2 twins, and a trundle bed) on the inside and there is room on the 2 decks for those that would like to sleep under the stars! The living room has windows looking out toward the water. The dining room table seats 6 and the kitchen bar can sit up to 4 more. The kitchen comes with an electric stove, refrigerator, portable dishwasher, microwave and cabinets full of dishes, pots and pans,glasses, silverware, and serving utensils. The trundle bed room doubles as a sitting room for reading a good book or taking an afternoon nap. A large closet off the trundle bedroom has lots of games for all ages and a collection of gently worn books to read while you vacation with us. One of 3 bathrooms is one the main floor.

The loft bedroom has a queen bed, dresser, chair and its own balcony with another place to get away. A bathroom with shower is located off this room, too.

The lower level of the house has 2 bedrooms, a full bathroom, the washer & dryer and two doors to the lower deck.

The bunk room houses the bunk bed, a desk, a wardrobe and the washer/dryer closet. The second bedroom has twin beds with a wardrobe, dresser with mirror , closet and its own door to the lower deck. The lower deck, with a porch swing, provides access to the backyard and the way to the private covered boat dock.

Cadiz boasts antique shops in downtown and a Public Library (internet available). Also, there is the Janice Mason Art Museum, Farmers Market (Wed & Sat, Spring to Fall), and the Trigg County Ham Festival in October. There is a public shooting and archery range just across the Lake Barkley bridge in Land Between the Lakes (LBL) (www.lbl.org). It hosts lots of activities for the family including ATV trails, The Homestead, ElK and Bison Prairie, biking, hiking, Nature Station, Planetarium, camping. Drag Boat racing is in LBL by Pisgah. Kentucky Lake is just west of LBL and also has water and outdoor activities. The Hot August Blues concert series is hosted at Ken Lake State Park. Murray State University in Murray, KY is about 45 minutes away. Water parks are located at the north end of the lakes in Eddyville and also east of Cadiz in Hopkinsville. Fort Campbell, home of the 101st Airborne, is located in the Hopkinsville area, as well.

Minutes by water to Lake Barkley State Resort Park and Marina, Land Between the Lakes National Recreational Area with bike & hiking trails, fishing, boating and picnic areas. The house has 3 levels, with 1 deck under roof and around 3 sides of the house and a lower level deck looking toward the backyard and dock. Have your morning coffee or tea sitting on one of two porch swings enjoying the peaceful, cove surroundings. The neighborhood is wooded with lots of birds, turtles and herons. The house has a fully equipped kitchen, 3 full bathrooms(showers only), and the 3 + bedrooms can sleep up to 8 comfortably (I queen, 1 trundle bed, 1 set of bunk beds and 2 twins). Washer and dryer are located in the bunk room. Satellite TV and DVD player are provided. There is a closet full of games for all ages.
