Located in the charming mountain community of Canmore, this 2 bedroom / 2 bathroom condo is in the perfect location for a mountain vacation and can comfortably sleep 4 - 6 people. (Can fit 4 adults and 4 kids)

This single level corner unit is on the third floor of the Canmore Crossing complex and, despite almost 1300 sq ft of open plan space, it still manages to retain a cosy and comfortable feel. It has underground parking and a storage locker for skis and other toys. You’ll have full use of 2 rooftop hot tubs after a day of skiing or hiking with great views of the Bow Valley (including the 3 Sisters). There is also an indoor hot tub and a fully equipped workout room.

The unit has a master ensuite bedroom with a queen sleigh bed and a great view of Cascade Mountain. The second bedroom has an adjoining bathroom and twin beds (which can be put together to make a king size bed). Both bedrooms have ample closet space. As well as the beds we have a sofa bed that is way more comfortable than the traditional ones that are lumpy and poke springs in your back all night. If even more sleeping space is needed, the condo also has a comfortable double air mattress (with electric pump).

The fully equipped, modern and spacious kitchen is ideal for preparing meals. Quality appliances include dishwasher, microwave, fridge-freezer with icemaker and water filter, stove, coffee machine, toaster & blender The slate floor in the kitchen, entrance way, and both bathrooms have underfloor heating, great for warming the feet during a Canadian winter.

The living room has panoramic views of the entire North-East range of mountains in the Canmore section of the Bow Valley, including Mount Lady Macdonald and Grotto Mountain. Relax on the comfortable leather couches in front of the gas fireplace and take in the vista. One couch is a very comfortable queen sofa-bed (not the old-fashioned hide-a-bed variety) and there is also plenty of room for a double air mattress (also supplied). Cable TV, landline telephone, DVD player (with selection of DVDs) as well as high speed internet are all included.

The balcony has views of the same mountains as the living room, as well as Cascade Mountain to the North West and Mount Rundle to the West - a perfect place for a BBQ.

Upon arrival you'll be provided with supplies including coffee, tea, laundry detergent, dish soap, shampoo, conditioner, etc. If you have small children then you won't need to bring the bulky stuff with you; we run a family-friendly condo and supply a high chair, a bed rail and a playpen. We also keep a National Park Pass at the condo that will give full access to Banff National Park (and any others you may visit, e.g. Jasper National Park).

Our family loves to spend time here (it makes a great base for exploring the surrounding area) and we look forward to welcoming you for your Rocky Mountain vacation at our Canmore mountain condo. If the dates you require are not available please get in contact with us anyway so we can add you to our waiting list in case we get any cancellations.

We are a family living in Calgary who love being close to the mountains. We like to ski, hike and generally enjoy all the Rockies have to offer. Before children, we traveled a lot and enjoyed staying in places similar to the one we now offer you.

We recently bought this property after having visited Canmore numerous times. We are hoping to share our love of the mountains with our daughters and think it will be a great place for family vacations. We hope you will enjoy our home as much as we do.

What makes this condo unique

We really love the location of our condo; it allows you to enjoy the town without needing to use a car. Having the shops so close means you don't have to plan ahead, and you can go out and enjoy an evening meal or night at the pub without having to find a taxi home!

We have visited many mountain towns throughout the US / Canada and this was by far THE BEST. A special thanks for Tara & Steve for a lovely condo that helped make our stay so enjoyable! If anyone is up for mountain biking we recommend taking the Goat Trail to Banff and back on the legacy. It was a spectacular ride on a beautiful and secluded trail. No doubt we will be back!!

Cosy escape from the cold

Tara and Steven's apartment was the perfect spot for exploring the southern Rockies, and it was really nice to arrive here after a very long day of driving (from Kelowna!). Even though it snowed pretty heavily the two days we stayed in Canmore, we weren't inconvenienced and were still able to visit Banff and Lake Louise easily from here. The apartment was great because we (four adults, one child) had plenty of space to spread out and do some washing (important on a month-long trip), and with the Safeway located right opposite the complex, we were able to make some great home-cooked meals in the well-provisioned kitchen. Tara and Steven were great to deal with (helping us out when someone parked in our allocated parking spot) and made sure Canmore was a memorable stop on our trip.

This Condo was perfect. It is spacious making a family of five at ease. It is well furnished and the kitchen is well equiped so cooking is possible. I found having a grocery store close by was convenient. Finally the Condo is in a good location and is very clean.

My girlfriends and I stayed here for 2 nights. We wish we could have stayed longer. The condo was very clean upon arrival. It was perfect for the 3 of us, but definitely spacious enough to accommodate more people. The directions that the owners provided were very clear and easy to follow. The condo is located near a Safeway, which is super convenient. Rooftop hot tub was awesome! And, it's a very easy drive to Banff -- plus, the condo comes with the park pass which saves you $20/day. Thanks for a great stay!

A lovely space in a lovely place!

This condo is perfect for a stay in the lovely town of Canmore. It is centrally located- close to grocery stores, walking trails, and the cozy downtown area.

It has a fantastic full equipped kitchen, and a very comfortable living room area. The crib, toys, and high chair were an awesome added bonus for our family!

I would highly recommend this property for a vacation rental.

Perfect for families!

Thank you Tara and Steve, we really enjoyed our stay! Your corner condo was as described. It definitely has amazing views, actually given it's orientation it probably has the best views in the complex. Our three kids were very comfortable. Having such a large, child friendly space (toys were great!) was certainly less stressful than our previous stays in small, cramped, so called 4 star hotel rooms.

The condo is close to Canmore’s endless outdoor recreational opportunities, you’ll also be within a few minutes walk of shops, restaurants and bars as well as Canmore’s Main Street. We are very close to supermarkets (Safeway, Sobeys), Starbucks, a medical centre, banks (Scotiabank, RBC, TD Canada Trust), and Shopper's Drug Mart.
