Photos and Description of the Lincoln vacation estate rental
A place to rejuvenate your spirit

Location: Gold Country, Sacramento, Maryville, Oroville, Bangor, Chico, Butte, Sutter and Yuba County, centrally located in Northern Ca.

Accommodation: Ranch Style Estate, Main Ranch House: Four bedrooms, three bathrooms (sleeps 14 with fold-out queen sleepers), Guest House: Four Bedrooms, four bathrooms (sleeps eight)

Keywords: Ranch, Estate, Retreat, Hide-A-Way, Escape, Reconnect, Reflect, Rediscover, Rejuvenate

Welcome to my Ranch, a place where you might fill your hours with activities or simply renew your spirit. It is centrally located in Northern California, about an hour-long drive from the Sacramento Airport in the city of Banger, CA., and 20 minutes north of Marysville.

The original Ranch House, 2560 Sq. Ft., has four bedrooms and three bathrooms and was built in 1998. I purchased the Ranch property in 2006. The four bedroom, four bathroom Guest House next to the main Ranch House, 1100 Sq. Ft., was completed in September 2012.

The Ranch is carpeted throughout and the living space includes a living room, dining room, kitchen with a dining nook, four bedrooms, three bathrooms, and a family room. The moment you enter the expansive Ranch Estate it instantly becomes your home away from home.

The living room is cozily furnished with over-stuffed furniture, creating a mood of complete relaxation!

The dining room displays a large wooden table that seats 12-14 comfortably, and includes a liquor cabinet and a buffet filled with drinking glasses and plenty of vino!

The kitchen is large and the hub of my Ranch. It is totally equipped and ready for guests to create meals fit for a king. The kitchen nook will seat an additional four.

The four bedrooms, as well as the baths, are tastefully decorated. The master bedroom has a queen-sized bed. The other bedrooms have queen-sized beds as well. Each bedroom has a different theme (i.e. Miner, Cowboy, Indian, and Outlaw), which create a fun sense of whimsy. The new guest house is an extension of the main ranch house and is decorated with a similar flair.

The family room has a TV, computer, and stereo system. The sofas create a ‘kick up your feet and make yourself at home’ type of atmosphere. The lovely picture window provides a spectacular view of the Butte Mountain Range, grazing cattle, buffalo, and zebras, rolling hills, flowers, green grass, blue skies...BREATHTAKING!

Envision a porch that goes on forever with ceiling fans providing a soft breeze and the sounds of nature, the outdoor fire pit, picnicking beneath the oak tree, sitting on a rolling hill watching the sunrise and sunset – each creating a sense of profound calm. Try relaxing on the porch with your morning coffee while enjoying the sunrise or with a glass of vino experiencing the beautiful sunset.

This property includes 220 acres of rolling hills, oak trees, and an expansive grassed area that can be used for whatever makes you happy – how about a grass picnic or nap? The views are not to be believed and can be enjoyed from both inside and outside the Ranch Estate. The nature scape is lush and expansive creating a very private atmosphere. The Ranch is the perfect place to entertain or simply to relax, the ideal spot from which to enjoy the unlimited activities the Ranch and local areas have to offer. My hosts, Terry and Roberta, will introduce you to the Ranch and assist you in coordinating your daily activities. Enjoy!!

The 14 Oaks Ranch is a slice of heaven. The majestic Butte mountains, rolling green hills, and endless oak trees are incredible. Having the opportunity to feed buffalo, zebras, cows, and horses made it a trip of a lifetime. Terry and Roberta are incredibly hospitable and the house is spacious and comfortable! Can't wait to go back!

The experience of staying at 14 Oaks Ranch was a memorable and an unbelievable experience. I can feel myself beginning to unwind in stages, from the busy city life, the moment I arrived. As I entered the main house each room was identified with a theme and was enhanced with western artifacts. It made each room inviting and uniquely charming. Walking to the Indian artifacts was very interesting and a worthwhile stroll. Learning about the mines in the area, nature and the animals that thrive at the foothills of the Sierras was educational. The view from the porch was spectacular. At night you see no city lights but the stars are a show in themselves. Seeing zebra, walking among the buffalo (bison in North America) and feeding them was a new experience I felt by the end of our stay I was gone for 3 times as long and wished I booked my stay longer. I will return...
