This is the most easterly point of mainland Spain and enjoys a unique climate rated as 'environmentally near perfect' by the World Health Organisation. Its a mixture of stunning 100m high cliffs, rocky coves, fishing harbours and clean sandy beaches. Located a few minutes drive from Javea's lively bars, quality restaurants, shops, and historical Old Town. Numerous fiestas, processions, firework displays, Saints' days, historical re-enactments, markets all year. The theme parks of Aqualandia, Mundomar, Vergel Safari Park, Terra Mitica and Terra Natura are all superb days out. The regional capital of Valencia also offers F1 Grand Prix racing, America's Cup yatch racing, superb aquarium, Imax, opera house, etc. Ferries take you up and down the coast, or to Ibiza and Majorca. Take a drive inland to the Jalon valley for lunch or to the fortified hill top town of Guadalest.
Motorway access to the rest of Europe is excellent.
