This beautiful Vacation Villa was built in 1995. It has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. 1 Kitchen and a quiet big living room with Satellite TV. You find 2 terraces one is facing south to the big about 960 sqm garden, the other one is facing south/west and has a roof and some windows ideal for the very very few not so sunny days in Madeira ;-). The Villa is about 5 to 10 minutes walk to the ocean.

Canico de Baixo is one of the nicest places in Madeira. You are close to the Ocean, Golfkurses, the capitol of the Island Funchal, the Airport and all kinds of Stores, Shops, Hotels and Restaurants. Even though the house is in a very quiet, sunny and green Street so you can relax and have a very peaceful time in the house and Garden. But if you need shops and Restaurants you find them just a few minutes walk away.

It is a lovely place to stay and a good starting-point for trips around the Island.
We liked he house that is well equipped. We especially loved the fireplace outside on the terrace, that allowed us to spend some warm evenings outside. The garden is nicer than the picture shows and the neighbourhood is very quiet.
Absolutely great are the hosts/owners who are very friendly and helpful. Thanks to them we also had a marvellous time at the Golf Course. Overall we found it a better buy than we hoped for.

Superb villa

How nice it is to arrive at a holiday destination and find it's actually better than you were expecting. This is a lovely house in the smart west end of Baixo. Surrounded by palm trees with the blue sea visible and very close. It's a perfect base for exploring Madeira even without a car, because it's near a bus stop and there are time tables in the house (about 40min to Funchal). The German owners live next door and were very helpful and kind and gave us lifts to and from the airport (but of course don't expect this). There are many cafes, restaurants and small shops within walking distance (menus tend to be in German and English only).
A few differences from the website - no phone, video player, radio, stereo system, cd or audio tape player (who cares) - satellite TV has mainly German channels.
Highly recommended.

Das Haus hat unsere Erwartungen voll und ganz bestätigt. Wir (2 Erwachsene, 2 Kinder im Alter von 13 bzw. 7 Jahren) konnten uns wunderbar erholen, weil vor allem auch genug Platz vorhanden war. Alles ist sauber und gepflegt. Die schöne Lage, der schöne Garten und insbesondere die außerordentlich freundliche und hilfsbereite Art der Vermieterin haben uns beeindruckt. Es ist der ideale "Stützpunkt" für Ausflüge, und zum Meer ist es nur ein Katzensprung.
Noch einmal hervorzuheben ist die überaus nette und zuvorkommende Art der Vermieterin, die sich auf rührende Art und Weise um uns gekümmert hat. Nicht nur, dass sie uns gute Tipps geben konnte (Restaurants, Ausflüge, Autovermietung), sie hat sich sehr persönlich um unser Wohlbefinden bemüht!

Sehr gepflegtes und sauberes Haus mit einem schönem Grundstück mit Blick auf den Atlantik.
Sehr gute Betreuung durch den Gastgeber mit weltoffenen Gesprächen. Dieses Feriendomiziel kann jederzeit an Verwandte und Freunde weiterempfohlen werden.Wohltuend war für uns die Tierliebe des Vermieters und Naturverbundenheit.
Nur 5 min. entfernt liegt die deutschsprachige Tauchbasis im Naturschutzunterwasserpark von Madeira mit einer wildromantischen Badeanlage für jedermann.In unmittelbarer Nähe befinden sich Gaststätten und Restaurants aller Preisklassen.Wenige Minuten entfernt sind Bushaltestellen . Mit den Buslinien ist man innerhalb von kurzer Zeit in Canico ,Funchal und am Flughafen von Madeira.
