Our Victorian house is three stories with a two bedroom unit on the first floor, a one bedroom unit on the second and third floor. Each floor has its own private entrance from the main stairway vestibule. Each unit has one bath with a clawfooted tub, dine-in kitchen, and a living room with HD TV and DVD player. The first floor has a front porch, the second floor a roof top deck, and the third floor has a balcony. The roof top deck has views of Rockland Harbor while the third floor has a nice view of Rockland Harbor and Lighthouse from the bedroom and living room.

You may rent one floor, two floors, or all three to have the entire house. Approx 1000 sqft per floor.

About Richard

Upon retiring from teaching, Hart and I decided to move to Rockland, Maine. Visiting friends and family in Maine over the years, Rockland had become our favorite place to stay. We live next door to the Hart~Rich Victorian. We take pride in the cleanliness and historic details of our properties and are responsive to any of our renters needs. Since we are local, we deal with our guests directly by giving them a short walk through on arrival and answering any questions – then from key exchanges to cleaning to repairs, and anything in between, we are easily available. All of our properties are fully furnished and have all the amenities of home!

Lovely Rental

Lovely rental with charming decor & color. Short walk to downtown Rockland & many activities. Well lit updated bathroom with large claw footed bath tub. Abundance of towels & hot water. Very clean apt with a living room to stretch out or recline on sofas & chairs. Street is quiet. Main bedroom is spacious with a new bed which is very comfortable. Kitchen is well equipped. Best of all, owners are warm, hospitable, accommodating & helpful. Parking is behind the house with plentiful space. We had a serene stay & we found the apt to be a gem. Great location to use as a base to tour the surrounding area. Walk to the ocean too.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Sightseeing, Romantic Getaway

Location was as described extremely convenient to Lobster Festival. Owner's were gracious & accommodating. All amenities were within walking distance. Would recommend the property to others.

words cannot describe how wonderful this property is. the hosts were beyond welcoming. well maintained and beautiful rental. close to all festival activities, great restaurants, the boardwalk as well as other fun activities.
