Encased by canals and a private courtyard (magnificent Corte Zorzi) allowing access to the building, Astarte apart is absolutely quiet as it is sheltered by any possible hustle and bustle of tourists.

Anyway the area is not a massive touristic path, it is an hidden corner just behind Saint_Mark’s square.

Typical “battuto veneziano” floors, ceiling beams and Murano glass chandliers, within a magnificent canal view over a secondary canal where just gondolas are allowed to navigate, bring guests in a real and agreeable venetian atmosphere.

Astarte equipment allow guests to prepare any meal for an easy self-catering.

AWESOME! Loved this apartment

This is one of the best apartments we've ever stayed in. The location is incredible, just a two minute walk from busy St Mark's Square but is so quiet and peaceful. The beds were great, the apartment spacious and you can watch some of the gondola rides (and be serenaded) from the living room window. There were two adults and two kids staying here and we had the best time. Andrea was great to deal with and responded quickly to my many questions. I highly recommend this apartment and would stay here again if we go back to Venice.

Good accommodation perfect location

The apart is good quality featured and fully equipped. Good wi-fi and air-conditioning, good kitchen equipement good beds (a bit too soft for our taste but well, habits), extremely quiet.

Easy access (1st floor). It faces a really nice canal where we saw gondolas and gondolas, fantastic.

Position is the best we could ask for: just behind Saint-Mark square, less than 100 meters, perfect for our sight-seeing, we didn’t waste time. Furthermore the area is not a usual tourist path and, even if so central, it is quiet and agreable. The apart itself is extremely quiet as it faces canals and a beautiful internal private courtyard sheltering the whole building.

Few meters from the apart there is the gondolas deposit and main start point, so if u wanna enjoy Gondolas tours u can easily catch it there.

Finally, thanks to this perfect accommodation we really enjoyed our stay and we deeply exploited our (too short) time in Venice.

Definitely recommended.

Convenient, spacious apartment

This is a great, spacious apartment that is steps from St. Marco's Square. We enjoyed the gondola traffic beneath our living room windows. The kitchen was well equipped, too. There are lots of places nearby to eat and to buy food to take home. The only drawback we experienced was the intermittent internet connection. Thankfully we were out most of the day so it wasn't a problem.

Great apt but not quite as advertised

We stayed in the Altea apt in Venice which is owned by Andrea (same owner as this one). The apt was nice but it did not have a washing machine as advertised and the wifi did not work. It was a hassle to get wifi. The person that let us into the apt had to make phone calls, get a device and come back. This cost us a couple of hours. Wifi should have been working upon our arrival.

Owner's Response: Dear Guest, thank u for your kind Review. Concerning washing machine u are right, it was marked in the brochure there was, it was a refuse of an old brochure used as "template". When u let me notice it I istantaneously amended it and proposed u a nice laundry service that u forgot to mention. Concerning wi-fi the apart is fully equipped qwith 24H wi-fi. So I don't know which problem u found on but Altea has a good wi-fi. Finally thank u for your kind Review, all the issues u mentioned have been fixed and what remains is Altea, a really nice apart at Saint-Mark's entrance, quiet hidden corner, perfect for easy sight-seeing with no time wastes. Nice apartment

The apartment was very clean. The beds are comfortable and the view of the canal was fun for everyone. Great location. Andrea was very helpful and kind and responded very quickly to my emails. The gentleman who met us at the bridge could have been a little more friendly and helpful. We arrived with two tired children, 2 strollers, 4 backpacks and two suitcases and when he saw all of our things he asked us if we "needed to hire a cart?" and held his hands up saying that "he could not help" as he had an 8ish year old son who apparently needed to hold his hand. (helping us pull ONE of our bags was apparently too much for him!) There was also a very strange smell in the apartment (and no, it was not the "aroma" of Venice that everyone speaks of) that appeared to be emanating from the washing machine. It was not unbearable but enough that all of our clothes smelled like it when we arrived home. There was also no wifi (even though it was listed as having wifi) and we were told to go outside into the square if we needed it. Which became somewhat of a pain after 2 or 3 days so I emailed Andrea and she instructed us to purchase the nearby hotel's wifi and we were refunded at check out. We would definitely stay here again but did not give it 5 stars for the above reasons.

Perfekte Wohnung

Ich entschuldige mich für mein schlechtes Deutsch, mein Englisch ist noch schlimmer :)

Wir haben sorgfältig diese Wohnung gewählt.

Wir taten dies nach Erhalt einer Broschüre mit Fotos, Beschreibung und vor allem, eine komplette Plan der Wohnung und ihrer Lage.

Alles, was wir gesehen haben, fanden wir auch!

Die Wohnung befindet sich in einer perfekten Lage, weniger als 100 Meter von der Piazza San Marco.

Der Zugang ist einfach, weil es ist ein erster Stock, und die Treppe ist breit und einfach.

Der Wohnung ist zu allen Stunden des Tages sehr ruhig und bietet einen schönen Blick auf den Kanal Orseolo, einem der schönsten Kanäle von Venedig, wo nur Gondeln. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet und die Betten sind sehr komfortabel, und wir schliefen sehr gut gekocht.

Der Stil ist ein bisschen alt, aber komfortabel, und wir bevorzugen diesen Stil eines modernen

dass passt nicht auf den Kontext.

Beenden wird als schönen Innenhof des sechzehnten Jahrhunderts, der Quer Corte Zorzi, Fechten und dass die Wohnung von jedem Lärm von draußen.

Direkt an der Campo San Gallo, einer schönen Bar und zwei Restaurants.

Ein paar Schritte und der Piazza San Marco, schön, aufholen!

Der Besitzer ist sehr freundlich und effizient und hat viele Restaurants, die allein würde nie schlug finden.

Schließlich ist unserer Einschätzung sehr positiv.

Empfohlen für diejenigen, die einen besonderen Platz haben.

A private internal XVI Cent. Venetian courtyard (Corte Zorzi) allow access to the building and also shelter the apart from any possible tourist’s hustle and bustle. In fact the apart is absolutely quiet.

Charming view on the nice canal behind its windows (Canale Orseolo) where just gondolas are allowded to navigate all day long (gondolas deposit and main departure area is 50 meters far).
