A privately owned apartment to rent in the sunny south of Tenerife, situated in Garanana Costa del Silencio between the airport and Los Cristianos. Guayota I is a small block of 25 apartments set in a quiet location with attractive Canarian architecture and pretty gardens. A 1mile / 1.5 K walk takes you to a sandy beach and the local fishing village of Las Galletas and only 3 minutes walk away are shopping plazas, supermarkets, bars and restaurants. The airport is fifteen minutes drive with Golf Del Sur and Amarilla Golf and Country Club on the way. The apartment is well furnished and light & airy accommodating up to a family of five, with two double bedrooms with twin beds and fitted wardrobes, a lounge with britsh TV, well equipped kitchen, bathroom with bath & shower, private stairway entrance with magnificent views of Mount Teide. This leads to the porch with cupboards that enclose the washing machine, ironing board, etc. The sun terrace overlooks the large communal swimming pool.

The Harbour in Las Galletas

If you like sport, in the local sleepy village of Las Gallettas as well as the fish market and harbour you will find deep sea fishing, diving, boat trips, wind surfing, and a few kilometers in the surrounding hills hiking, horse riding, camel safari and activities to suit all. Fancy a game of tennis or bowls? There is a club with four courts and greens just across the road from the apartments. Feel like a workout? There are two gymnasiums 200 meters further on where one can even hire bicycles. When eating out there are numerous restaurants to choose all within a short walk or in the village- French, Italian, Chinese, Venezuelan, Austrian, Spanish, & English from Fish & Chips to a la cart . A three course meal costs on average £7.00 to £15.00 per person and the food on offer is very good. All prices are approx . (Prices may vary with exchange rates) You often get a better exchange rate locally and duty free shopping is cheaper in the local supermarkets.

Our holiday in Costa Del Silencio

We arrived in Costa Del Silencio in January to fantastic sunshine and warm temperatures. On arrival we were pleased to see a welcome pack and a clean apartment that was well placed for all local amenities. Nearby there was a bowling club, tennis court,swimming pool and golf course plus a short drive away the nearby towns of Los Cristianos and Playa De Las Americas which have great shops and a good variety of restaurants. There were also plenty of local bars and restaurants if we didn't want to get the car out. A favourite spot of ours was drinking coffee on the sea front and watching the world go by. It was a good value for money holiday, we got cheap flights out there, a good rate for our hire car and although we ate out most nights we ate breakfast/lunch in the apartment and sat on the balcony in the sunshine.

This is my third visit to apartment very comfortable. Easy to find, close to amendities, Nice to have a pool onsite which is limited for use only to people in the apartments.
Local village nearby, plenty of shops, dive centre, restuarants good atmosphere, Local bus connections good to Los Cristianos + Las Americas
I would recommend this apartment to friends
