Resort-style living w/ golf, tennis, race track, beaches within minutes

Just 10 minutes to the track! When you are not at the track, relax by the pool, play golf at one of the many nearby golf courses, picnic at the beach or plan day trips to the San Diego Zoo, Wild Animal Park, Sea World, LegoLand, South Coast Plaza, or many other local attractions. Watch for whales and dolphins atop the nearby ocean bluffs, golf at Torrey Pines, or surf with the locals - it doesn't get any better than this! Our 2br/2ba, ~1200 square ft ground-floor condo is located in the friendly Belmondo community within the Morgan Run Country Club development of Whispering Palms. We are just a minutes from the Del Mar racetrack, Showpark (international show jumping and dressage venue), beautiful local beaches, world-class shopping and award-winning restaurants. It is fully furnished with a private patio for BBQ-ing, a well-equipped kitchen, and a functioning fireplace for cozy evenings. Lush landscaping surrounds the community pool and hot tub, which are just steps from the front door.

Built with plenty of windows for natural light and surrounded by well-maintained common areas, this home-away-from-home is both upscale and wonderfully livable. French doors in master bedroom and living room open onto a small patio with BBQ and table/chairs. The master bedroom features a queen-size bed, television/DVD player, two closets, private bath with dual sinks and an extra large tub. The second bedroom is furnished with a sleeper sofa and desk for use as a bedroom or office/den, and also features two closets and private bath. Additional amenities include cable and wi-fi, washer/dryer, 1-car garage (with extra reserved parking space), and friendly neighbors. Up to two small pets allowed.

The community of Whispering Palms itself is beautifully maintained with plenty of areas for walking and biking. Morgan Run Country Club, part of ClubCorp, recently completed a multi-million dollar renovation and offers something for everyone -- golf, tennis, dining, fitness classes, spa services, junior golf and tennis programs, live bands, wine tastings and more. About Kate

Originally from the Phoenix area, we relocated to beautiful Rancho Santa Fe 12 years ago. We purchased this ground-floor property so our parents could enjoy extended visits over the holidays and in the summer months.

Located in the semi-rural Rancho Santa Fe, but convenient to everything, this condominium community is the perfect 'home-base' in north county San Diego. The fabulous San Diego weather and nearby beaches make it easy to live an active, outdoor resort lifestyle! Additionally, the property is located in the heart of the equestrian community -- Del Mar racetrack, the polo fields, Showpark and numerous world-class hunter/jumper and dressage training barns are all within a few miles (Olympic teams from several countries maintain training facilities in the area) -- there is always something going on for the horse-lover in your family.
